the girls are meant to back the music and add atmosphere to the production, not make it so that you can't hear a thing - plus they sung it really badly

I saw Rovin Jay in AZ in a production of Little Shop he's a great performer!!!!! I loved him so much! The whole production was just fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen!

hehe...the reason you hear so much screaming at the end is because Paul Dean, the guy playing mushnik, is an acting teacher and pretty much his entire class was in the audience that night... I guess it would be pretty traumatizing to watch your teacher get eaten by a giant plant:)

DUDE!!!!!! That IS the freakiest, scariest, and most awsome Audrey II I've ever seen, it remjnds me of Biolante from the Godzilla movie, NICE!!! Voice was, pure awesome pownage! on a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being the most awesome) The plant gets... +9,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are Mushnik's lines all wrong? His delivery also gives me a major pain in the ass. I'm probably just nitpicking because that was one of my favorite roles. This plant is still amazing.

They are BOTH good. This is extremely well done. Rovin Jay adds more of an ominous tone to the song which is how it SHOULD be. the movie version with Levi Stubbs had more of a rock n' roll version, and it ommited the second verse of the song.

Finally a good Mushnik! Actually, he's the best I've seen yet, and Seymour isn't that bad either. But the signers almost killed it. But Mushnik finally had the look, weight, some facial hair, and most importantly--accent. EXCELLENT. Oh yea and Audrey II is great too, both voice and puppet. I play Audrey II in our musical this year (voice).

That puppet frightens me. Audrey 2, Seymour, and Mushnik, are all great actors. Any tips on how to build such a great puppet? I need some help building one, as my high school is doing it in the spring, and the drama teacher is having a spasm over what to do about the puppet.

The mics are so large because they are between $300-500 cheaper than the mics without pads. It helps the budget...
