Now Berzerk and Centipede, those were decent games... and then when my folks got me the NES I thought "it couldn't possibly get any better than this" and then SNES came out with Zelda Link to The Past and Secret of Mana and I thought wow, it's almost like a cartoon.

you noticed at the end they credited the game designer? That was a major reason why several senior developers at Atari quit and started their own company; Atari was basically giving them no credit for their work.
