Then after training, they just swore you in, though technically you'll have to stay til the rest of your tour. After that, you're a citizen and a veteran. No you have to go to college to enlist in any branch in your not native to the U.S. after college you should have a visa that way you can enlist while going to a university ,if thats too much of a wait I'd understand the hassle you just want to enlist for your personal reasons and may not want to go to college you could always join the FFL french foreign legion they take all foreigners no education needed to enlist.

They operate under JSOC, which gets orders from the CIA and the Pentagon, so if you can get the right Delta recruiter, you can get a chance to attend a meeting to maybe get a chance at selection. However, if you wanted to get to to DEVGRU from, lets say, the Marines, you'd have to go through BUD/S and become a SEAL first.
About that, I'm actually in the Military and last I checked if you were fortunate enough to visit the CAG compound, they'd all tell you they're part of the Army. Also, they're on an Army base, in an Army unit, under the COMMAND of JSOC. Back in your seat Powerpoint Ranger.

The show is alright...I wish they didn't do the entire 50-60 days of camp in one episode. I would prefer to have it stretched out more to get to know the soldiers and have more character development. Regardless, much respect to U.S soldiers in this show and the world's soldiers that sacrifice themselves for the nation.

An overweight SEAL w/ 6 years on the teams who quit the course, because skydiving scared him. I'm not making this up. SEALs are human, so is every other SOF operator and every branch has their turds. However, 99% of these men are studs; it's the 1% that diminishes reputations.
