  • love that ending..sniff..sniff...

  • aw how sweet :)

  • "Expected, sir, and demanded!" Haha. He's so pompous.

  • I just love their dad... he cracks me up. Their pompous drama and he makes a sandwich... "what's the expiration date... I'll chance it" ha ha ha ...

  • See Frasier when you try to help people haha. Frasier should of let them get married and live in loveless marriages and end up in divorce.

  • touching

  • One of the things I loved about this show was that, as pompous as he was, as self-centered, when it came down to it, Frasier ALWAYS would do the right thing, no matter what it cost him. To me, the rooftop dinner he put together was the essence of the best of him...

  • I think they would of had a problem getting off the roof because of the swinging door.

    Anyhow, brilliant episode.

  • This is like watching a tv version of Shakespear XD. I love it, much better then that bullshit soap opera Friends, which got waayyyyy more attention then this for no reason.

  • The scripts are so intelligently written, funny, touching, witty and all!

  • Frasier is a very warm man. He cares. I love him and I love the show!

  • i'm 21 years old, male and i'm not shamed to admit it - i'm a sucker for this type of endings. really well done.

  • Cute first date.

  • Marty is SUCH a great dad!!! :)

  • I HAVE NEVER!!!!

    YOU ALWAYS!!!

    WTF!! hahaha

  • "you even got that man to move his pigeons!"

    "niles there were no pigeons..."

    "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" LMFAO

  • "Well, I never-" "No, you ALWAYS!"

  • @Cronana "GET OUT!"

  • What type of tablecloth is on the table?

  • EXPECT IT SIR ... ... AND DEMAND IT!!!

    rofl

  • i love frasier's "GET OUUUTT!"

  • It's hilarious when Frasier talks intellectually to his Dad and gets simple responses!

  • Martin-hows a corn beef sandwich sound?

    Frasier-I am appalled.

Martin- well no problem, there's some smoked turkey in here too.

  • I wish I had a brother like Frasier. He really does mean well. And anyone who would do that for a family member is Alright with me! "Frasier has left the building"!

  • "I am WOUNDED!"

    Lmao!!!

  • Really funny this show. In the German version the show is hopelessly bad, I never watch mor than some seconds in the decade this show ran. In English it's good. It's like with Captain Future vice versa. Or the Peanuts. There are the German versions much better, brillant concerning Captain Future. E.G. Peppermint Patty calls Chalrie Brown 'Darling', not Chuck. And the sync is much more interessting, especially Sally and Lucy and also Re-Run. Halle Berry sounds cheap in German too - like Frasier.

  • I love how Fraiser goes into complete thespian mode

  • Does anyone know the name of the piano music that plays in the background of the roof top scenes here?

  • Haha I love the way Frasier moves his head when he says 'get out!' - like an angry wildebeast XD

  • daphney is not pregnat; jane leeves is. you must admit. pregnancy distorted her features a little and here, she looks like Janis, the muppet show drummer--esp w/the hair. doesn't mean she isn't lovely though. she did some really terrific acting in this series too. it must have been great to have the storyline so focused on characters other than frasier and his love life or lack thereof. the best movies and shows always have well developed secondary characters

  • The smalltalk when they dance is brilliant

  • Reminds me of when she taught him how to dance. :)

  • I agree. All the actors have fantastic chemistry. Martin was the right choice to be father to Frasier and Niles. Never have i watched such great comedy and heard such intelligent scripts. I watch Frasier every night before going to bed. I am a Malaysian fan and this is the best US comedy of all time.

  • @maheshsam100 i agree. :)

  • "NUMQUAM POSTEA!!!" Lmao xD

  • Such a sweet ending with Niles and Daphne.

  • well i never!

    No you always!

    ....

how does a cornbeef sandwich sound?

  • Man I love Frasier !!! The Best show ever in the history of sitcoms....

  • THIS IS IT!!!!

  • THIS STINKSS THIS IS TOTAL BS!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERES BULLDOG!?!?

  • And suddenly I have a flashback of the first time Niles met Daphne. The way he was smitten with her from the beginning. And now, eight seasons later, it's a whole new beginning. God, I love this show.

  • Frasier is one of the best tv show of all times. No wonder it lasted for 11 years.

  • Frasier really does love his family. I love how he always makes a big deal, but then he forgives them really quickly.

  • frasier and his Shakespere! God I love him! Thank you writers!

  • AWWWWWW....If you look closely, when Niles and Daphne start dancing at the end, as Niles puts his hand on Daphne's back he gasps slightly! How adorable.... :)

  • @livdaprano Very, very adorable.

  • Does anyone know what the music is during the dinner on the roof scene? If not the exact artist, does anyone know any similar music?

    Thanks

  • @GillNJ i don't know the name of the music, but if you type in SENS on the you tube site, that is lovely music, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Also try Romantic Piano Music....you can also get them with quotes which are nice for someone special in your life....

Look at Sens '~Wish' the words will make you cry...p.s. I love Frasier, especially Niles

  • I ....fucking....love..........this show.

  • This has to be one of the greatest episodes, not of the show but of sitcoms in general

  • Frasier, one of the best tv series of all time..

  • Even a camera shot of Martin pressing up on the elevator, leading Niles to his surprise.

  • How does a corn beef sandwich sounds? hahaha John mahoney gotta love him

  • I had tears in my eyes when Niles leaned and saw Daph, all beautiful, content and waiting just for him... it's one of those TV moments where you call magical, you know it's not real but still wish one day it will happen to you. One of the most precious memories in Frasier.

  • GEETTOOOUUUTTTTT

  • Ahhhh Niles...

    He is so sweet!!!!! ^_^

  • this is a kind of family that love and support eachother and show it to eachother. I am like that with my family

  • Frasier is such a sweet Brother, and Martin a sweet Father.

  • Was Daphne pregnant in this season, I noticed they've covered her stomach a lot :/

  • @londongirle3 Yes she was :0) .. she gave birth 3 months after this episode

  • daph looks beautiful

  • lmao! @frasier & niles!!

  • well i never

    no! you always

    GET OUT!

  • I love Frasier's tendency to rant in Shakespearian monologue :D So poetic and well delivered.

  • "pigeons? i don't like pigeons-they have no respect for public art." gotta love niles!

  • Holy crap, I wanted to CRY at the part were Frasier surprised Niles with the date. It is one of he most thoughtful and sweetest thing a brother can ever do for his brother.

  • @BFFfave123 I DID cry...and do every time.

  • Simon (the brother) talks, walks, and acts like Ozzy Osbourn

  • The reason this show is funny and well written is because the writers give Frasier and Niles lines that are so dramatic and straight out of Shakespeare that it's almost like they live in a constant play. Then they add in characters like Roz, Daphne and Martin to bring you back to reality. LOL

  • @LAX324 Haha!! SO true :D

  • @LAX324 Excellent well said :-)

  • This is one of most thought things a sibling could have done for his brother. I honestly have never been more touched by someone else's generosity.

  • I have a problem with the new playlist thing at the bottom of the screen. every time a new video starts it leaves full screen, the new playlist function makes no sense to me, this way i still have t get up and click full screen when a new Frasier part begins.

    Anybody else having this problem?

  • Niles and Daphne should be thankful that Frasier, as usual, didn't keep his bazoo shut.

  • NUMQUAM POSTEA!

  • that roof top opening scene is just the sweetest.....

  • I'm from a small mountain village in Tibet.

  • God I was so overwhelmed by the last scene, I know its as cheesy as hell, but its just so dam perfect!

"I´m from a small mountain village in tibet" lol

  • "I am wounded!!!!!!!!" one of the funniest lines from this show Kelsey Grammer is so brilliant!

  • The dinner organised by Martin and Frasier is the cutest set-up EVER. :-) <3

  • HOW ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!

  • How sweet, a rooftop dinner! I love Daphne and Niles together.

  • I love when he breaks into Shakespearean speech, "What is my offense?" LOL Classic Frasier

  • there were no pigeons. *pat pat*

  • @dandelionpetals Ohh...

  • David looks like such a good kisser.

  • @angellguardiandl0111 huuuhhuuuhhhhhh *nods*

  • They are the most beautiful couple in the history of television.

  • EXPECT IT SIR AND DEMAND IT

  • One thing I always loved about Frasier was the ridiculously theatrical arguments. Shame it's not on anymore, but I cringe at the thought of a reunion show. Oh what the hell "I AM WOOOOOOOUNDED!!!!!!!"

  • @nutsack325 haha i almost posted that myself xD

  • It`s amazing how this show can bring tears to my eyes.

  • the moment i heard the first note of the music play

    when niles saw daphne

    my tear gland started working.

  • one of the most well written....well acted...well played scenes of all time.......bravo

  • At 0:44 the apples are green, but before they were red.....

  • At 0:44 the apples are green but in part 1 2 3 and 4 they're red....

  • The ending is so ROMANTIC.

  • the scene on 0:24 is so funny! i just love the timing! :-)

  • i love the episode where martin tells daphne it took 3 cranes to lift her hahaha

  • Having read five pages of comments about how Jane Leeves is so obviously pregnant, I either assume those people have seen the episode so frequently they no longer see its beauty and must nitpick... Or they've just can't appricate it.

For my part I find Jane Leeves' has that glow of a pregnant woman, a glow that I reckon is what Niles always sees when he looks at Daphne.

Feel free to downthumb for whatever reason, I don't care.

  • I agree with you completely about other people comment. Personally I go with the "in writers didn't mention it, I pretend it's not there" attitude. But on the other hand, forgive me asking, but you're a man, aren't you? Only a man can go with a "pregnant woman's glow" when it come to pregnancy vomiting, headaches, etc. ;>

  • Well I know the glow is caused by some very nasty happenings. I think it's the male way of trying to make the woman feel better about the vomiting, headaches, enlargement etc.

  • @DomWeasel

Hey, I'm not gonna thumb down. This is the first time I've seen this episode so I didn't notice that Jane Leeves was pregnant and even when I saw episode where she was it didn't bother me in the least! ^-^

  • The muscles from brussels ! LOL

  • I don't like Pigeons they have no respect for public art.

LOL Niles totally steals this show!

  • Frasier: Well, I never!

    Niles: No, you always LOL!!

  • I adore Martin Crane.

  • I adore them all - I miss them.

  • @threecardmontegirl

Interestingly enough, Martin actually reminds me of my MOTHER! So yeah, I can't help but adore the guy.

  • Niles never seems to have trouble standing up to Frasier...

  • This would have been really romantic for me if it weren't for Daphne being visibly pregnant.

  • I love this show so much... I love Frasier's smugness.

  • Daphne looks so beautiful

  • The one thing the irks me about Niles is that he doesn't really thank Frasier enough for all that he did.

  • the little red sash that Daphne is holding on the roof is to hide her pregnancy I think.

  • God I find the part of Daphne's brother really annoying it was funny for a while but afterwards i just forward it

    The rest i love!

  • i absolutly LOVE the fact the niles goes out with his dad and frasier goes out with daphne for the night. i dunno its sweet

  • GET OUT !!!

  • Comment removed

  • This is so sweet!

  • I love how Martin always keeps his cool when Frasier and Niles act like kids.

  • probably used to it XD

  • Some of the greatest writing in TV history. The chemistry between all of the actors was excellent.

  • "Well I never.......NO YOU ALWAYS" 2 class acts.

  • Perfect ending to a comedy of sorrows!

  • Yeah, great speach!

  • Gotta love Grammer's semi- soliloquy. Almost stage actors' quality.

  • What a sow Sweet Brother:-)

  • They are short and they blow darts. What's not to like ????

    The writing is the best.

  • ooohhhhh how cute!

  • Oh man, I practically died at the adorable awesomeness of this episode... if any couple are meant for each other, even if it's fictional, it's Niles and Daphne :'D Frasier's such a perfect sitcom... so funny and so heartwarming at the same time, I love it <3

  • What an wonderful episode, the acting was just so spot on...

  • "NO, you always!"

  • GET OUT!!!

  • lol.

  • Hope it has Pygmies, I like Pygmies,,,heehee!

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

  • "Pigeons? I don't like pigeons, they have no respect for public art"

    Got to love Niles

  • "And futhermore, why don't you take your broadside, stuff it in a chair and keep your unlimited supply of opinions, suggestions, proposals and recommendations to yourself!!!"

    "Well, I never..."

    "No. You. Always!!"

Niles if the funniest character in Frasier!!!

  • Best argument ever!

  • @kingmarck1 I agree with that :D

  • @kingmarck1 I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL XD

  • and, i might say, rther pointless to all of us who don't have a clue what Designing Women is...

    hence, this

    bringing-a-quarreling-couple-t ogether-by-having-a-surprise-r omantic-dinner-for-them-on-a-r ooftop

is very much highly original to some of us... ;p

  • That Simon character, I just can't stand it.

  • I agree.

  • @phabbiola Why is that character in so many episodes? It contributes nothing to the show. In my opinion he is the only mistake in 11 seasons of the show.

  • @petar1shuwack yea, this character and Daphne's mother too.

  • @TheBlackbird100 Couldn't agree more - as with all of Daphne's brothers, his accent is awful, and for some reason it's cockney, rather than from Manchester... He's just really annoying to me, with hardly any funny lines, and those which are potentially funny are spoiled by his delivery.

  • @phabbiola Do you mean you dislike him? Or you don't find him funny? Because I think you're supposed to do both. I think he's hilarious.

  • @traccan his character is so annoying I get upset LOL, so I guess he is a good actor

  • Hahahah Frasier's immediate recovery at 2:53-56 is hysterical.

  • The family loves one another so much :) Great.

  • why would anyone want to go to a restaurant with pig feet in the title?

  • at the feet of the pig--aux pieds de cochon...i think it's a reference to truffles. even so, you're right. maybe it's french-soul food fusion.

  • ha, you can see that even Eddie hates Simon.

  • Their arguments are so funny and dramatic. xDDD

  • "i hope it has pigmies, i like pigmies."

martin is such a cute old man.

  • simpley awesome :)

  • How Awesome, Love this

  • Love Simon's little monologue about his plan for the evening. Sounds like a bloody good night to me!! :D

  • Id love to know where both kelesy of the virgin islands and David of newyork picked up their outrageousely imperiouse acents.

  • the beginning of this scene is epic, when grammer and hyde-pierce are arguing.

  • wow it can be pompous and contrived, but they really have heart and tenderness

    for a sitcom lol

  • WELL! I! NEVER!...

    NO! YOU! ALWAYS!

    GET OUT!!!!!

laughed so hard at that line!

  • i love their arguments xD so entertaining

  • Frasier is such a nice brother.

  • Hey anyone else notice niles actually sat down without wiping the seat first?? lol

  • oh yeah that's true!

  • such passion

  • Frasier is the best brother ever!
