Yes, he was. His dad's name was Tyler. After he was returned to human form at the end of the 4-part "Defending Dark Heart" mini-series in the first season, Grimlord recaptured him. In the 5-part "Quest for Power" mini-series in the second season, Grimlord transferred all of Tyler's VR knowledge to the Prism of Empowerment which allowed him to upgrade his warriors and his base (from the Virtual Dungeon to the Virtual Dark Fortress)
