I love the moment at 1.38 when helen gives back polly a dish shaking her head.She seems to be saying her"Polly,you've done a wrong job!it is dirty!"It is very funny!!and Polly seems to reply "you rascal!"

Of course they had known each other for more than 40 years.

It's nice to see that Helen had a comfortable home life.

Although Helen is so much different in real life than what I imagined, her amazingness remains the same. I never cease to be amazed by her. Great documentary! Thank for sharing it.

Great documentary, just fantastic. People were so healthy back then. That is what I'm reminded of whenever I see old black and white films and usually at my mother's house.

Yes....I think Helen Keller probably had a " Healthy Lifestyle ".

At least I think she probably had a very stable routine. She used to get up at 5:00 am every day. And I assume she must have went to bed fairly early. But then, she had such an active life....I'm sure she needed her sleep. LOL : )

Dear Helen,

I knew you had posted this documentary, but waited until I had uninterrupted time to really watch it. It is a beautifully done documentary; very sensitive and very human. Helen Keller's joy in being alive comes through so well in this view of her daily life. Her positive thinking, energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity about everything around her, are qualities I find very inspiring!

Yes.... I think one of the most interesting things about Helen Keller is her optimistic attitude.

And her interest in life around her. Whenever I feel somewhat overwhelmed or challenged by a situation....I always feel inspired by Helen Keller's example.

Hi Helen, its Mary-Anne I am stopping by on behalf of dad, I to have been enjoying your video's of Helen Keler its is an amzing story of her life. I promised dad while he was away in hospital I would do some catching up of video's for him, he will also watch when he gets back. She was surely an amazing lady,
