There were many protests from Albanian patriots in Kosovo and Albania that this is an injustice done to Albanian people. Even, the American president of that time acknowledge that this was an injustice, but it was worth it in order to create peace in Europe. The question is did it succeed? Not at all. After one year the Second World War started.

The economic problems that Kosovo is facing is not a genocide done by Albanians and you have to understand that. The Kosovo is not a very powerful economy, and recent studies show that more than 40% of people in Kosovo live with less than 1 dollar a day.
This is why emigration of people in Kosovo is very high. There are many Albanians who go to other countries, predominantly Switzerland and Germany, because they have anything to eat. I totally agree with you that something must be done about the economic situation. But there is not even a single fact that people in Kosovo are burning churches or killing Serbs. Since Kosovo's independence there is not even one Serbian person killed.

Two reasons why that region was named Venetian Albania firs is beacause that part of Albania was ruled by Venetian Republic, and second one was to differentiate between Ottoman Albania and Venetian one. Venetian Albania was in Dalmatia and the Ottoman one on the region of today's Albania, Kosovo & Montenegro. FYI Dalmatians are a Illyrian tribe. There were many protests from Albanian patriots in Kosovo and Albania that this is an injustice done to Albanian people. Even, the American president of that time acknowledge that this was an injustice, but it was worth it in order to create peace in Europe. The question is did it succeed? Not at all. After one year the Second World War started.

Kosovo was part of many Empires and Countries: Bulgaria, Byzantine Empire, Medieval Serbia, Ottoman Empire and again Serbia in 1912....although always had a significant albanian population was never part of Albania, even if the albanian population there always wanted that to happen, specially in the uprisings in 1878 and 1918, then it was one of the autonomous regions of Yugoslavia....but again, NEVER was part of Albania...

In Kosovo it does not matter at all if you are Christian or muslim. The second biggest city in Kosovo, Gjakova, is well known for its Christian traditions. Two reasons why that region was named Venetian Albania firs is beacause that part of Albania was ruled by Venetian Republic, and second one was to differentiate between Ottoman Albania and Venetian one. Venetian Albania was in Dalmatia and the Ottoman one on the region of today's Albania, Kosovo & Montenegro. FYI Dalmatians are a Illyrian tribe. and albanian must learn serbian too.thats why all albanians can speak serbian.
now albanians learn english in school and universitys.and dont forget the kfor..children learn from them too. (small talks)
