I won this map in 20min on veteran, one attack wave to disable the airfields, and like 30 bombers to take out the carriers. I like to have Yamato as my flagship instead of the fuso and also the Zero is more fitting I think.

Destroy all the fuel tanks around the airfield and headquarters, if you dont do it, you cant unlock the Yamato.

With some fighters circling and defending the ships, I would bring the naval fleet in close enough to bombard the coastal guns to prevent them from shooting flak as your planes went in on runs against the headquarters. At the same time, fighters to the airfield.

u could have saved urself alot more damage if u approached the yorktown and turned portside so u have starboard against the US fleets bow and they could then only use front guns while u can hit them with full artillery

then when u go after the enterprise u have enough distance to turn even more portside and dothe same thing, or just go straight and faced them portside v starboard

Also the Japanese fleet should be farther because costal artillary can attack from there. but the dont know unless they got radar. but the only planes should be there is the Val and the zero, i dunno the topedo bombers name but they had 3 military planes. the pete is a scout biplane. but i know my history and this is alittle off.... not every thing but just a few..

he had a terrible way at going at this sorry to say best way to do this in my oppinion is start off with a bunch of air support and just go in with your battle ship and destroy the island i beat this on veteran like 5 times trying to get a gold and with the carriers you do the same thing but use your naval support unlike what he did it goes much faster that way the hidden objective is to destroy the fuel tanks next to the airfields supposedly and you will destroy the airfields by destroying them

There is a way of getting the gold and the Yamato class, it's a hidden objective. What you have to do is destroy the airfields but you have to do it by destroying a group of fuel tanks, they are hard to find but if you fly low you should find them, just a group of cylinders, near the runway, as I say you have to look closely but it can be done, I hope this helps.

All I will say about the two carriers is use either your battleship Fuso or better yet the Yamato when you get it, (it is a fucking beast of a battleship, excuse my language) and proceed to blast them to pieces.

You can send in Kates and Vals if you want to but the chances are you will get shot down before dropping your load. Just make sure you have a short distance between your Jap fleet and the US fleet otherwise you will be there for what seems like forever trying to chase them down
