I am so excited that I am walking in the march for babies. I am fortunite to have given birth to my daughter Skyler Renae full term. She was born November 6th,2008. I am walking because I want every child to have a healthy start. Thank you march of dimes!

Things can go wrong with full term births to. Lilike was born term at 39 weeks with TTN but instead she was suspected of having sepsis at birth. Due to rapid breathing. With the skin pulling under the ribs and the main concern a high white cell count and also she was pale and a had low temperature. She was placed on 7 days of antbiotics via ivs and thigh injections. I also had severe maternal anemia at 35 weeks pregnancy with Lilike and 2 blood transfusions with a hemoglobin of 56.

Im almost 24 weeks pregnant now with Baby Twinkie Bear due July 28th 2008. My baby started moving at 15 weeks. But movement is very rare now for when baby kicks I do feel the kicks but baby has less room to move!

My "older" cousin was supposed to be a month "younger" than me. Unfortuntaley he was born at right about a pound. This was in 1978 when babies basically were given a death sentence at that size, or being mentally retarded as the most optomistic prognosis.
He overcame it all and now is proudly serving in the United States Navy as a computer engineer. God bless you my precious cousin Jimmy Mathews.
