Perfectly tuned drums, and the bass and drums sound like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter evening, by the fire... Then the guitar completes the picture with marshmallows inside the hot chocolate...
Been a TAAQ fan since Rzhude (gheseundheit!) was the bassist, going way back to Plan B. While that was a fantastic album, this is LIGHT YEARS ahead of even that, and that was great stuff! I still whip that out every now and then. It sounds to me like Bruce has been listening to a lot of Steely Dan lately, but he's definitely in full-on blues mode on this. Love it! Reminds me a little of "The Steal", but on steroids. TOUR THE FREAKIN' STATES, DAMMIT!!!!!
wat a wat a beautiful song. am proud my country has a band which makes music like dis. wow. awesome. can anyone help me giving guitar tabs of dis song?
@shikhargupta89 : Rig: Erisa Custom Strat with Lindy Fralin Pickups --> POD X3 Live Tone 1 --> Vox AC4TV amp (no amp/cab sim; straight in with a Chandler Tube Driver model in the signal chain, no other FX). POD X3 Live Tone 2 --> straight to DAW, stereo; Marshall Plexi amp model and mild hall reverb. Thassit!
I knew it sounded like some Floyd song, just couldn't put a finger on it. And as for a longer solo, you know what they say about the blues..."If you haven't played a 10 minute long solo, you haven't expressed yourself"

@shikhargupta89 : Oh - Amp mic'd with a dynamic mic (AE 57 clone) off-axis to the grill, and a condenser about 12" away.

Tight. Together. Warm. Tasty guitar sound, like home made marmalade on hot multi grained toast.

Yes, 'Shine on...'
I knew it sounded like some Floyd song, just couldn't put a finger on it. And as for a longer solo, you know what they say about the blues..."If you haven't played a 10 minute long solo, you haven't expressed yourself"

its got that 'shine on' sort of little sequence of notes going on...and the solo HAD to be longer for an epic blues feel! bah....great song! love it!

Nice work...starts something like a T-Bone Walker blues song, but drifts into more of a Floydesque mood. Perhaps the solo could have been longer?
