If I remember right, it was Victoria Principal who had him so messed up. He was madly in love with her and she was playing a lot of games. After his death I seem to remember her on a talk show - Johnny Carson maybe? - and she denied causing all the problems. She was (is) a pretty cold-hearted shrew.

I remember watching her and thinking she didn't seem sad or remorseful at all - just very aware of her appearance, like she was acting (even though it was a talk show). There was a part where the host asked her a question (about their engagement maybe?) and she became very defensive - she said HE did something (broke it off, maybe?), not HER. It was pretty inappropriate to blame him for something considering he was now dead. Yeah, she's a cold one.

After watching that clip of andy talking in november of 1987 just before he signed the record deal,i can't believe what happened over there in england just four months later. he must have just freaked out over there alone and began drinking alot and got real depressed. he shouldn't have been over there alone and he should have got to the doctor quicker. all that alcohol finished him off. i know he phoned his daughter, Peta hoping she'd visit just a few months before he died.

Victoria Priniciple left him because he was a coke addict which I believe was an ongoing problem up into his death. He probablly did a high ball mixed with alcohol that contributed to his condition which was a hole in the heart from all the coke he did. Other than the addiction, he was a very talented young man but completely out of control due this on and off again addiction up until his death. Dying in obscurity in a castle next to Robin his brother, busting all his teeth and falling in UK
