I checked out the other video at facebook. The same problem comes up. When you summarize his life and beliefs it becomes devotional. In fact, UG starts sounding like the confrontational Jesus when all of his arguments are strung together. Trippy. Stop talking.
@sarcee1960 The movie is still on. I originally made this to show for grants early on, before i had even really begun production or made any interviews. a production like this take's time though. Thanks for your interest in it though, I will try to be better in updating about the status of production
@matthwjmes Thanks for the update. Good to know. Were you, or have you, been able to interview Julie Thayer? Or anyone from UG's family (e.g. children, grandchildren)?
haha ok now i know why he always had this strange haircut - look at the picture at 1:58, his ears seem to be huuuuuuge! i think i would have been ashamed for having those too.
He actualy did take LSD once with Aldous Huxley - he mentiones this in one of his 1967-1968 interviews. He said that his LSD experience destroyed all of the experiences he has had up to that point, including all the mystical experiences achieved through meditation.
@doboj911 Don't know if J. Krishnamurti, the other Krishnamurti, took acid and you're confusing UG with him, but I'm sure UG never took any drug at all. He often remarked that every experience is the same, no matter how it's produced, he didn't advocate drugs but didn't condemn them either, they can't give you anything different from any other experience be it spiritual or any other, that's all.
Nisargadatta was the same in many way's and lot's of seekers had problems with him including Robert Adams who said he was rude..and he ate meat...so what, everybody has to do it, think it and say it the same way?...People say the same thing about Tony Parsons today and yet he's the most requested speaker on conscious tv because so many have had the penny drop at his meetings or just listening to him, and he offers the individual Nothing
@LoveJoyPeaceComfort فَأَجَابَهُ يَسُوعُ: «أَنَا هُوَ الطَّرِيقُ وَالْحَقُّ وَالْحَيَاةُ. (translated: Jesus answered: "I am is the way and the right and life.)
I have always been told that I should be like great spiritual teachers.................I found that there was no UG at all. How can anyone comment on sush a man,its beyeond commprhension.
@sammy1983 Indian philosophy has never been speculative; Western philosophy has always been speculative. UG's realisation at 49 is a return to Indian way of being, a calling off the search., our natural state. But to reject completely the speculative is an unnecessary nihilism-"we shall nevr cease from our explorations, and the result of our exploration is to arrive where we started, and see it for the first time"
Be in breath, the most simple and most natural and physical act you can ever do. Just be in breath. But, then if you are a mind fuck system you will try to make a philosophy out of it, its ridiculus. IT is too simple to be touched with the mind. The mind is fucking with you all the time. Life is simply HERE very simple common sense.
drugs are a uncontrolled unatural state of mind. it is not the same realms the budda spoke of. there are no short cuts. U G sed he could not find or be shown proof of his oun existance, that was his realisation. and he was liberated when he stoped looking. the feeling and thought of looking was his bondage.
i feel better for meditating so i do it, i enjoy lerning and looking so it is a exeptable bondage for me.
actually, he is not there at all, in any kind of way. we call this death. still, you will go on saying what you say as will others for it's more important that thought keeps it's wheels spinning than anything else under the sun. do you have a great frustration, or isn't it that this "you" thought has invented is no different from frustration, or any other notions it has in there.
That should be the lesson for everyone who wants to "follow" him. He did not want to be a teacher. He wanted you to realize what he was saying within yourself.
Maybe of interest to anyone a friend of U.G. is a documentary film, called "A Course In Miracles Unleashed". Find the link on my channel info. Thanks.
So? It certainly isn't about more ideas, but about the transformation of your mind, the letting go of all ideas you ever held to be true. Loose the world from all you thought it was, because there is no world.
what is this mind and this you that is supposedly going to transform it? if "you" really ask that question, all the way, then the question and the questioner is done with.
what this man was saying is too simple for thought to do anything at all with. that's the fire and the danger in it for society and so called self.
Haha I think he is funny... maybe after so many years dealing with people who just keep persisting to aks him that which he cannot give them he doesn't want to help yet they come.
The one question I'd like to hear answered from UG is if he ever used entheogens and what in his view, the relevance has been of these substances to human cultural evolution.
this is the real matrix lol

Haha I think he is funny... maybe after so many years dealing with people who just keep persisting to aks him that which he cannot give them he doesn't want to help yet they come.
DivineNatureAwakens 2 years ago
Why shouldn't he be? Do you think a bee who is stinging you is angry or is it merely functioning?
mumuwu 2 years ago
The very thing UG was against - "followers" is exactly what you so called "fans" are.
Now creating memorial videos and all this nonsense shows your attachment to someone else rather than finding truth for and by yourself.
Please don't try to be "wise" asking silly questions. A Bee stings because of biological conditioning (instinctive response).
UG is angry because of psychological disorder.
Lyinxz 2 years ago
its not anger my friend. its energy. ug is life not thought.
