  • I love her dress! :D

  • Tell us how to knit a sweter for puppy and teach them not to bite it

  • What a bunch of fun and funky DIY ideas for pet beds! I've never thought of using a vintage suitcase, but I love the idea!

  • This Is the MOST STUPIDEST THING I have ever seen. The dog will get in knock the lid down and frighten the living shit out of himself. My dog always kicks his legs about when he is in bed and giving him this bed would be a big mistake.

  • Ha Ha I love the Idea of making anything into a comfortable bed! This absolutely ingenious!

  • She could take some fabric and hot glue gun it to her sofa?! :) hoped this helped! :)

  • T_T German Shepherd sized? :l

  • Im gonna use this for my cats:)<333 Sending LOVE to my sweet cats:)<3333333333333333333333333

  • I want to make a shitload of these and donate these to shelters

  • hey i have a request

pls show how to make cute small pillows for chihuahuas

  • sucks when the suitcase accidentally closes on ur dog.

  • T_T u.u This wold've been awesome for my Travieso... and my other dog sleep anywhereand ditches doggie beds, so yeah. XD

  • I LOVE ANIMALS :D

  • This was a great idea & I love that it's a dual-purpose thing...storage AND the doggie bed. You guys rock, as usual!!!

I came looking for something else, however. I want to repurpose a few of my old t-shirts as doggie shirts for my new best friend...my Boston Terrier, Lola. She has an owwie and I'm hoping a shirt covering it will keep her from licking without having to resort to the sad cone/dunce collar. Any tips?

  • Clever and cool doggy beds.

  • Hahah! You guys rock!

  • Cleaver Idea. You get to please your pet and recycle at the same time.

  • i'd love to see more pet ideas. my cats are feeling neglected :D

  • cause i know dogs trust me its purebred

  • and how do you know that? it could have underlying genes of any type of dog

  • what do you know? with a tail like that, it could have genes from a chow or pomeranian. purebred chihuahuas dont have curly tails. it could have genes from any other breed, but they just dont show in apearence. you do not know dogs

  • AWESOME!! :D

  • cool

  • too cute!

  • omg this is such a good idea (:

  • please show us how to make a pare of jeans

  • god, that is a qute top she's wearing!!

  • I love this idea but the bad thing is, my dog is too big for luggage I was wondering if y'all had any ideas for large dog pet beds?

  • Just use a bigger suitcase!

  • Your fiance` is so cool!

  • Yeah, he is.

  • i love your name

  • This is a very cool show. The vintage luggage bed idea - AMAZING! And that chihuahua is so cute:)

  • My friend watched this, made the dog bed and her dog loves it. these ideas are so helpful! You are making me a favorite amongst my friends. Thanks!

  • Cute couple.

    And nice video

  • Cool top.

  • How did you make even PET STUFF really hip ad stylish. AWESOME SHOW!! I am so totally inspired. I am sending this to everyone I know. Thank you THREADBANGER for bringing us this new show.

  • and if the fabric is plain u can paint on it nd have ur cool DIY couch =)

  • mm easy way to deal with the couches, just buy some cool fabric, put it over the couch and decore it with some pillows, no sewing required!

  • 2:33...SO CUTE.

Man, I really like this new girl :]

  • Me too! She fits right in with Rob, Corinne and the Threadbanger crowd. You guys found a keeper:)

  • Agreed! ^^

  • Agreed over here too! They are all so cool, I want to hang out with them at Meg's house!

  • Gracie is adorable and so sweet!

  • Me too!

  • This is my freakin' favorite.

  • So stylish and funny! I love it.

  • "Genious." lol I love it!

  • can you guys show us how to make that quilt made of t shirts? please and thankyou.

  • Where did you get that white pillowcase with the multicolored orange stripes?? I have the comforter from my parents and I see that design occasionally but can't find a source for more. Oh how I love it so!!

  • Rob + Corinne are the bomb.

  • I love Rob and Corinne. There's enough love for everyone!

  • Wow I LOVE the new host. The normal two are so annoying.... Less is more people.

    less is more

  • they are not annoying they are the best they ARE THREADBANGER!!!

  • she isnt a new host...her show it just an addition to the threadbanger show. rob and corinne are still hosting regular threadbanger shows.....

  • I LOVE Rob and Corinne. No need to talk smack.

  • Tip for Liz. If the couches are a plane colour. you can paint some funky designs on them with fabric paint...

  • that dress you are wearing Meagan...ROCKS!!

vintage and hip at the same time!!

    you go DOMESTIC DIVA!!

  • Here's my issue with what you've just said:

What do you think art and crafting is? Not even Picasso used original ideas; all everyone ever does is expand on the ideas of others. It's not a negative thing. It's how change is brought about.

  • please understand i meant no harm by my statement. i simply will be stealing these ideas. trust me i am an artist myself and i get it.

    rock on threadbangers.

  • You live with a Bre Pettis lookalike?

    Easy is the new cool.

    Keep it up.

  • lol makezine! unfortunately i dont have a small dog.

  • That's cute.

I'm still trying to figure out something cute for my ferret. She hates regular pet bags but loves to travel around. Suggestions?

  • Oh, that is cute.

  • that bag bed thingie is dangerous!! wat if the thing closes on their head!! how does it stable...

and if u dont sew the rim of the fabric, everytime u wash it its gonna start coming off from the edges...

  • yeah how would you keep the lid from closing??? it is a cute idea for travling esp. if the lid didnt close???!!!

  • maybe like a hinge?

  • i looove these episodes! :]

  • Man, that was awesome! I just might think about befriending my very annoying (but vintage suitcase sized) dog, Moose, just to have an excuse to make this bed! ...maybe this will get him to stop peeing on my stuff, and only MY stuff because I yell at him all the time...

    ~Claire

  • Claire, I feel you. I have had dogs in the past with the same "bladder issues". Nothing is more frustrating! But talk it out with Moose, and let him know we're rooting for him!

    xo, Meg

  • I play a piano. Could I hang that on the wall too?

  • lol

  • Liz and I have the same problem. It's the pillows that seem to be the hardest to work with, that and my pup likes to dig into the cushion. In fact Gracie looks just like my min-pin/chi mix =P Oh and I can sow, I just don't know where to begin.

  • where are the other two hosts????

  • 00:48 how sweet is that?

  • I LOVE threadbangers!

  • I've already got my guitar hanging on my wall - not for art, but for function. My room's small. But it works for me. :)

CUTE DOGS! :D I might have to show my mom this since my dog keeps ripping up his beds.

  • cool

  • I'm really loving the new segment

  • Thank you thank you. I am so excited you put my post on the show. I hope you do more pet things. You guys are awesome!!!!!!

  • I know! I'm so happy. My mix pup, Denver (yes, like the city. I dont live there, but Its a nice place to visit :D) is gonna love this! Just got to find a suitcase big enough for him :D. I love her dog! So cute! She's so nice, and she comes up with the nicest project. go threadbangers!

  • Yeah agree her dog is so cute, and she seems like the sweetest person.I have to go out and find me some suitcases. Hope Denver loves the new bed. :D

  • Thank you, Eyeblazer, for sending in the request and for loving our dog! That is the way to my heart.

    xo, Meg

  • She does. Meg seems so sweet!

  • she could dye the fabric a different color. i wish i had a dog, but oh well. 5 stars again!

  • i love the idea of hanging an instrument on the wall... decoration and function! to think i've just been leaving my violin in its case...

by the way, i'm in love with your gray shirt, i've never seen a collar like that. what designer is it by/where did you get it?

  • OMG! i thought of that too! way before the episode! i thought, for even bigger dogs you can use a travelling suitcase!

  • Hmm, she could always try stapling the fabric over with a staple gun. Reupholstery is hard and time-consuming, so I think this would be the best option.

  • Shows Us how to make the Guitar to!:)

Nah, Thats a bit much I know.

Great Show Meg n' Meg's Man!

  • Meg your top is so awesome!

is there a way i can get one like it or the pattern for it?

  • I love Meg's top...or dress? How bout a tutorial on how to make collars, for dress shirts and garments like Meg's?

  • this was cute. makes me wanna get a pet now!

  • How would I make a retro pet collar easily and cheaply?

  • Your rock star fiance` is hot! AND helpful.

  • do u think my saxophone would look good on the wall?

  • Yes, definitely. I think your saxophone would look really rad on the wall! Hang that puppy and send us pictures or footage. I would love to see how that looks!

    xo, Meg

  • why doesn't that chick just sell those couches and buy new ones

  • Money is a big issue with this kind of thing. It's great that Liz is trying to work with what she has instead of just buying "new". Always best to try to make it work first. Less consumption, more recycling. xo, Meg

  • i liked the guitar wall hanger thing, but i wouldn't trust myself to hang a nearly 1000USD guitar on a wall hanger i made myself. LOL xD

  • If your vintage suitcase doesn't stay open on it's own, just add a dowel to the back to prevent the bed from closing. Super easy.

Thanks for watching and enjoying it!

    xo, Meg

  • I already did this with a hat box luggage... great idea but I did not keep it as a bed at the end, The top can close on the dog.

  • can you guys also make clothes for pets?

    please and thankyou!

  • Genius! OMG Gracie's life on the streets was hilarious. And NEST NEWS! I love the new segment. Really cool. The retro pet bed is so lovely and really practical. Nice work, Threadbanger.

  • I love the pet bed! That is so great. So cool and totally recycling an old piece into something fresh and new. Nice work, Meg!

  • I LOVE that dog-bed! Would be perfect for Moms dog! I just need to find a big enough suitcase for Snoopenia!

  • Perhaps she could draw/fabric paint some designs on her couch.

  • Pretty Nifty :P

  • You could turn your T's into pet clothes. Or theres always the ole make a quilt out of them technique.

I have the exact same ugly furniture problem only with recliners. PLEASE SHOW SOME RECLINERS TO!

  • What if you have a big dog? I have a lab and I always want to find something warm for him to wear :( Do you have any ideas?

  • Hmm, while I'm here...

I have a lot of old babydoll T's that are pretty short on me now, I can't wear them without showing off waaaay too much stomach. Any ideas on what to do with all of them?

  • think layers or something.. that would help.

if you're good at sewing add some contrasting colored fabrics to make it into a mini dress and wear it with jeans :)

otherwise layer long tanks under the tops

another thing to do with them is make some pillows - sew or glue the bottom and armholes shut and stuff it and close the neck hole - instant tshirt pillow :)

  • ...I'd be worried about the suitcase bed closing and hitting my pet's head.

  • me too.

  • Open it out fully to make 2 pet beds. Or leave a gap between the lid and a wall. It would take someone to pull the lid to hit the pet in question.

  • You can tape the metal hinges on smaller suitcases. Duct tape to the rescue.

  • Then keep it propped open with a dowel or something. Solutions, solutions.

  • try tying a piece of string to the handle of the lid and then tying the other end of the string to a pole or a strong chair or table leg. Maybe use rope instead of string for toughness. Or even wedge the suitcase into a corner so that it cant close accidentally.
