The disco era was HUGE in pop culture, and his role in that movie was well played and symbolized an era of music and style. His dancing was great in that movie, even with a choreographer. I would say Jackson has extreme raw talent, and Travolta can make it work because of the type of role and the way he acted. It is really just about the...mood of the dance.
