Mate I have to disagree with at least your first techneque, These techneques need repetitive training and should be done under supervision. People don't just stand there with a knife when their full of PCP or Ice or meth. I could have swang poked and jabbed with that knife 10 times. Look at the size of that rubber blade dude. 101 self defence be aware of your suroundings, take the open path, Don't walk to late on your own. Stay under light at night. carry a panic alarm, carry an Led light.

First rule of knife fighting. Secure the knife. If you

crack him in the neck as you did @ 0:29, there is a

good chance he will cut your carotid artery as he

falls....that's a very quick death.

Best defense against a knife is a good pair of running

shoes. If you have to fight, using an umbrella is fine

but don't try to look cool just use it like a club, attack

the hands arms and head in a ferocious attack.

You've plainly never been in a knife fight.

I would be concerned with a blade that close to my neck. The student is being very stiff, and street situation would be with a attacker who is going to do what ever it takes to kill you.
