I went to the concert at the Keswik Theater in 2010 and I was fearing they were summoning the devil. I was ready to see the floor split open and the fires of Hell to start roasting me alive.
His Shows are better then his songs, by a long shot. For many of the songs he replicates the videos on stage... Including a quick change into the Fat-suit for Fat, and being a bed on stage for Like a Surgeon.
i just saw him a few days ago at the Oregon state fair in salem, Oregon, i once did somthing almost identecle, only i called it the "fools rant", any way, FELL ON THE FLOOR OF THE PAVILION AND DAMN NEAR PISSED MYSELF LAUGHING!!! XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD
I saw him at the San Mateo County Fair the other day. He started doing this and asked everyone to sing it with him and everyone was all "ummmm" I loved it though^_^!
I was walking, just talked with a friend a couple days ago that if he has a concert anywhere from Florida up to Ohio, from the Carolinas to Texas, we were getting tickets and going on a road trip. And, boom! Right there, a poster for a Weird Al concert practically in my backyard! It was great.
i saw him in Kansas city for "poodle hat" ive been to many a concerts, white zombie, korn, crystal method and many more. i would have to say the his is the most entertaining, and worth the money, there funny as hell too. he played almost every song i could think of that was even somwhat popular. good stuff.
no fence he roxx lol.. i wish i could ask him that question i always wanted to... Al, if your here... just 1 question... do you feel sexyy? cuss i do for you =P
This isnt my concert...but mine was WAY after this. It was so funny when he was singing this because i knew all the words!! It was so fun at that concert, my dad doesn't like weird al and he said that it was a VERY VERY VERY good concert. MAybe if there's a concert near YOU YOU should go to it. They're not expensive at all. The tickets are only about 25$
I saw him yesterday! It was so amusing! Of course, I also amused Steve- I could tell by the look on his face when I was singing the yoda chant with them. He was looking at me like, 'o.o' It was SO funny!
wanna know what stinks? hes gonna be in wildwood this week and i'm in warren county. then WE'RE going to wildwood next week and there will be like 3 concerts that i could have gone to. then i have to miss the wilkes-barre concert to go to dorney park. and i bet the first concert i DO get to the power will go out or something.
I just saw him in cleavaland ohio. I can safely say it was a pretty badass concert. I would totally recommend seeing him if he comes near enough to you. What was more badass for me was that he came off stage and stood up on a chair directly in front of me in the next row xD. AWESOME concert
wait so the stage was rotating the whole time? how'd you get the video then?
thats cool though..haha i love that chant..my friend actually knows it, and i saw this guy chanting it when i went, and he was doing some movies too, but some were new so she didnt know all of them.haha
I saw him too on June 25th in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and the show was freakin' awesome! If you haven't seen it live yet, well, what are you waiting for? After the show, I got autographs from Steve Jay and Al and talked a bit with Ruben Valtierra. BTW, does anybody know what the name of the tribal chant is after the Hawaiian War Chant? It's after the siggi-sakki chant. Thanks.
That chant near the end is from a song by Steve Jay called Big Shoes. He says that part at the beginning of that song, and then part of it later on. I like it as part of the Yoda chant, it sounds really cool!
After "Hawaiian War Chant" and after "Ein Prosit" (Zicke-Zacke-Zicke-Zacke-Hoi-Hoi-Hoi") is "Marching Off To Bedlam" by Napoleon XIV ("They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaaaa!") Maybe they were just paying tribute to Dr. Demento.
Plus I thought is was cool how he yelled at the people leaving during Albuquerque. I don't think it was staged because I saw other videos and he didn't do it.
I was there. Surprised he didn't do everything off the latest album. Don't Download this Song. Could've changed the words for taping concerts. I hope he does another next year. Next time I need really close seats. In row M, section D it wasn't bad. I've been in D so many times. A little crazy. Next time I want to be closer to the door where they come out. Oh Yeah. Almost forgot. Steve Jay came and sat two rows behind me before the concert and was talking to the guy behind me.
I used to wonder if the chant was pre-recorded. Now I know better!

If you count all the versions of the Yoda Chant, Al must've made about a million "Star Wars" songs.
