@smfarazm it's alright. even though 1000D doesn't have video recording, all important is that you can still take sweet photos and capture moments. it's not with the camera, it's all in the photographer's eyes.

@KidKraze321 from what I know you can record the images from the liveview when you hook it up to a laptop or pc using a "hack" and thus filming with it. Not sure if there is a hack to have it film on it's own like it's bigger brothers.

@timerunnerproduction the 1000D is the same thing as the XS, the 1000D was its original name before they started changing the names, like the 450D or the 1D etc, which all later became the T1i and the T2i , :P

I purchased this camera recently , no its not perfect 7 point auto focus is fairly low standard , cheap build quality , can sometimes have a mind of its own and will the screen wont turn on ect. it takes good pictures tho but once i got to know all of the features i was hoping for more, just saying.

@Lastspixx No. It doesn't have movie mode, but there is an application online that allows you to use called "EOS Camera Movie Record" that allows you to record video to your computer through the camera's live view, but you do have to do this via usb cable, so you'd have to have your computer with you.
