Not CLOSE but it's close lol, if you live ina suburban area liek Wlatham, Watertown whicha re like 20 25 mins away from norwood, i live in Waltham, and go to UTI norwood, I usually do 15 mins to Norwood ( then again I'm goinga tlike 90 mph ) But any of those cities are close to boston.
good job popping that 5EFE.....you could have had a high power engine if you took care of it and built it with 5EFHE internals and properly turbocharged it.......but if thats all you care about it.......your loss

And honestly, I wouldn't care, if I had a spare Toyota lying around, I'd probably do more to it than just blow the motor. Unfortunately for the owner of the car in the video, I don't think that Toyota was a spare, it was probably his only car.
i actual have this car now... putting in a 4efte engine into it... ya it was funny watching it blow up and i was there... i opened the hood at the end... i took that engine out put another used 5efe in it and blew that one... same cyclinder #2 so now it time for a better engine...
4EFTE is a good call if you want to start out turbo. A little easier start is a 5EFHE and turbo that, you will be glad you did. On the forum on Tercel Online, there are two of them pushing 400whp, one of them are almost in the 10's in the quarter, and these are street cars
