Yep,my friend.. [cheers for the great comments on my page, please visit anytime,xx ;) ]..I've been an "outsider" 42yrs you show a v mature argument in your vids,I was an activist through 80's,early 90's.. been arrested 3x...lol..We bombared the 1stDonalds to be opened our town, destroying the windows 4x+leafleting non stop.. causing total chaos+made national news...in my country its gone totally underground...we have moved backwards into greed not forward.. sad ;( keep the faith my friend..xxx
Yes, I say the same to you (keep the faith). I have to believe it can change, even if it is unlikely! So many little signals of hope, but that, too is frustrating, as I know all too well not to have any expectations for improvement whatsoever! Oh, well...onward......
LOL, apparently, you aren't capable of thinking for yourself, considering that you didn't address any of the points I brought up in my argument, and instead gave me a bunch of quotes.....
Your points support mine - we humans have the understanding of suffering and abuse and of rights to be free of suffering, and the greatest thinkers of our time have included animals in that mandate for compassion. You are just a jerk.
Also, I love how you don't know how to interact with those who disagree with you without throwing insults left and right. I realize that this is youtube, but in the event you don't already know this, not everyone who disagrees with you is ignorant.
Same old crap all the time. Uninformed people are uninformed people. No nice way to say it. Anyone who argues against compassion is a jerk. Period. Go do some good for the world.
Look up George Carlin - Saving the Planet on youtube.... make sure you watch the 7 minute version.... I'm actually a little curious to hear your opinion on it....
I am not into wasting my time on people who only poke fun at those trying to help and do little to help themselves. Sickening. You waste my valuable time, go do something for the planet, humans, or animals - you choose! I do good for all 3 of the above every day of my life, I can live with that just fine.
hahahahaha I like how you had the black girl say that slavery was ok so that no one would pick up on how racist it is for you to compare Africans to animals....
The problem here is that the main point of this film is to convey the idea that animal life is equal to human life. If that were true, then why is it a racial slur to compare Africans to gorillas? I fundamentally disagree with your argument. There is a fundamental difference between us and the rest of the animal kingdom.
to begin with, humans have an understanding of the concept of rights. Liberation has come to the oppressed peoples you speak of through the words and actions of great thinkers like Fredrick Douglas, Booker T Washington and Martin Luther King Junior. All intelligent beings who had a very good understanding of the concept of rights, something which no other species in the animal kingdom has the capacity to understand. Your comparison then between oppressed peoples and animals is a very poor one.
Walker, Alice: "The animals of the world exist for their own reasons. They were not made for humans any more than black people were made for whites or women for men." (She was African American and wrote "The Color Purple")
Tolstoy, Leo: If he be really and seriously seeking to live a good life, the first thing from which he will abstain will always be the use of animal food, because ...its use is simply immoral, as it involves the performance of an act which is contrary to the moral feeling -- killing.
MLK Jr: "Never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way."
Franklin, Benjamin: "So convenient a thing it is to be a reasonable creature, since it enables one to find or make a reason for everything one has a mind to do."
Einstein, Albert: "If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals."
Einstein, Albert: "Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
Da Vinci, Leonardo: "I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men."
So are you saying that you understand and adhere to the concept of rights, thus respect for your species, but fail to recognize the rights of other sentient beings? In other words, to not follow the same rational discourse when it comes to a different species of life?

It is sad when those who are trying to do good are the most attacked, and the real criminals are both defended and rewarded. All my best to you....

@blaziermissy yes because the life of one animal is not equal to that of a human being imho...
