No, you will actually gain mpgs. But not a lot. And in my option the 44 sounds like straight shit on a v6. To get the best sound, go with a super 40 delta flow. And get a single intake dual outtake muffler.
Its just one that I got from autozone. It just bolts on. But I took it off, and cut the pipe right behind the muffler and now it is so much louder. It sounds more like a GT now. I've had many people ask me if it is a GT.
