i would argue a form of responsibility is using contraception.

Obama is not even qualified to be president. He is illegal because he is not a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution. Therefore, his executive laws and any laws he signs are void and without legal merit. If you want to stop him then sue him and the agencies on the grounds that he is not a lawful president! This disqualifies Obama as a Natural Born Citizen even if he was born in the state of Hawaii. Therefore Unlawful President. The evidence so far is that he was born in Kenya anyway not Hawaii. But, as I said, it is irrelevant because of his Dad.
We cannot avoid the reality, if pple are going to abort their babies they WILL do it LEGALLY OR NOT . Its better to have those pple taken care of in hygienic cliniques, thats what politics are for, to guide and protect (supposedly).
What WE CAN DO and SHOULD DO is make pple LEARN about the horrible procedure of abortion... I bet that would help, rather than forbiding it...
Separation of church and state does not mean that preachers cannot use their right to free speech to be involved in socio-political change. The only possability to enter Pro life policies is to legalize and encourage gay adoption. It is not natural for a child to grow up in a orphanage. It often ends up with many psychological wounds in the child, growing up without loving parents.. Pro life people should be aware of those consequences.
There are plenty of homes for these children. People are having to waits months to adopt. And if a person has a bad life, do we kill them? Children need a mother and a father. That is the way God planned it

I've seen the testimony of a women (I can't remember her name) who's mother was raped by 8 men and was given up for adoption. Are you also aware that child molestation is MUCH MORE prevailent within US elementary schools?
Are you also aware that the rate of molestation in schools is so high partly due to schools moving accused teachers to different school districts?
Are you also aware that the overwhelming majority of molestatation occurs within the family unit?

i would argue a form of responsibility is using contraception.
i do think that's a fair stance to take, on when life begins. but it's such a tough call. i personally can't imagine making that choice to abort, yet i still can't get past this being anyone's but the individuals decision.

It's like drunk driving, you choose to drink, you choose to drive, you might get a caught you might not but you made the choice and going to jail is the ramification of that choice. If you choose to go to a party, get drunk, have sex, and not be on birth control YOU created life irresponsibly and you should have to carry the child to term.
Put the baby up for adoption if you don't want it, someone does. In this country, babies get adopted by parents who can't have their own.

i agree adoption is the more sane/moral decision. but who has the right to make that decision for someone? that's a question i personally have never been able to reconcile.
two proven things worth fighting for to reduce the number of abortions: better education and better parenting.

I feel that a person usually makes the a choice when they have sex. The purpose of sex (besides having a lot of fun) is to create babies.
having sex without being willing to take responsiblity for the act seems irresponsible to me and on top of that, a waste of life.
I also believe that life begins when the child has ceased to be an embryo, so the child is helpless to the whims of the mother, and some want to abort that child so in essence the child gets no say in it's life. is that fair?

You see, in most cases, people have already made a choice. Aborting the child is a response to a decision to have sex when they had no intention of keeping the child.
Many women get an abortion because of the physical changes that their bodies will go through. Pregnacy is very taxing on a persons body and many women would rather the fetus die than deal with the physical ramification or the loss of their immature lifestyle.

i think you oversimplify though. what about the instances where it wasn't a choice for the woman (i.e. rape or incest)?
or when the trial of pregnancy is life-threatening to the would-be mother? if you say (or legislate) that she has to go through with the pregnancy and she ends up dying, is that still pro-life?

lol - you assume that most "pro-lifers" are against those kinds of abortions, and I only have a 500 word limit to work with here so I have to leave some stuff out.
trial of pregancy and rape resulting in pregnacy is extremely rare. However, in those cases I think that it would be wise to allow the mother to decide... however, a women who gets pregnant over and over and aborts it due to "life-threatening" issues should be forced to be tube tied.

I don't understand why people attack obama when it comes down to the abortion issue.. As a president there's very little he can do becuase the people have pass a bill making it illegal. No matter who's president it wouldnt have changed. Also this opinion seems more religious based. And arent we suppose to separate religion and state? Obama has already done something regarding abortion. He has reversed the policy that bans government funding for groups that provide abortions overseas. His campaign has called abortion a tragedy, but then he's done something to ensure this tragedy will be more widespread, at the taxpayers' expense, too.
Also, not everyone who opposes abortion does so for religious reasons.

Even if he stabilizes our economy he's still the "obamanation" because of the abortion issue. All i'm saying is that there are other problems out there. This isn't the only focus. The so called "Right" of abortion is NOT in the costitution. Roe-V-Wade was a bad supreme court decision... against a basic right of the FREEDOM of LIFE. as written in this country's Declaration..Why shouldn't we vote on religious belief (RB)? If a vote based on RB is one against human rights, than where's the wrong? Besides, by denying that an unborn child is living is a denial of SCIENCE! (SONOGRAMS, etc). All abortions are equally deadly. at least one person is killed. PROTECT ALL PEOPLE!

Yes, the state cannot pass laws that favor a particular religion. E.g., state funding of parochial / religious schools is not permitted. Rather our system has enshrined the principle of freedom of religion.

Obama is not even qualified to be president. He is illegal because he is not a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution. Therefore, his executive laws and any laws he signs are void and without legal merit. If you want to stop him then sue him and the agencies on the grounds that he is not a lawful president! To be a Natural Born Citizen one must be born in one of the fifty states and both parents must be American citizens at the time of birth. Obama's Dad was not an American Citizen and was here on a student visa as a British subject and Kenyan national. This disqualifies Obama as a Natural Born Citizen even if he was born in the state of Hawaii. Therefore Unlawful President. The evidence so far is that he was born in Kenya anyway not Hawaii. But, as I said, it is irrelevant because of his Dad.

We cannot avoid the reality, if pple are going to abort their babies they WILL do it LEGALLY OR NOT . Its better to have those pple taken care of in hygienic cliniques, thats what politics are for, to guide and protect (supposedly).
What WE CAN DO and SHOULD DO is make pple LEARN about the horrible procedure of abortion... I bet that would help, rather than forbiding it...
it seems harder but on the long run, efficient.

Separation of church and state does not mean that preachers cannot use their right to free speech to be involved in socio-political change. It means that government can't pass laws that are for the benefit of religion! I am an atheist but I want there to be preachers speaking their mind. Many are true patriots and are rallying the citizenry to action against an illegal government. Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen and therefore he is an unlawful president!

I don't think you got my point. There is another option, and we probably would have had equal opportunity, adequate family leave and benefits, flex-time, telecommuting, on-site child care, broader acceptance of public nursing, etc., if we hadn't settled for legalized elective abortion.
Instead, 36 years later, women are still compelled to choose between their careers/education and their children. Abortion's just become a tool to keep women from turning the world upside down.

The only possability to enter Pro life policies is to legalize and encourage gay adoption. It is not natural for a child to grow up in a orphanage. It often ends up with many psychological wounds in the child, growing up without loving parents.. Pro life people should be aware of those consequences.

Ok, now what are these "other reasons" why America has made the biggest mistake by electing Obama? McCain is certainly not better in any cause. I'm pro-life, but when it comes to voting for the better man, McCain has been inconsistent with his views and lying to the public everytime through his political campaign ads and rallies. With him voting with Bush 90% of the time, I don't think that we can afford another 4 years of economic decline.
