@kooooljoechris Indoor grows can yield like 2 oz per plant and up. I would say 2 oz minimum if you use the right soil and take care that the plant is never stressed or deficient of nuts. Although lets face it, its your first time so both those things will happen at some point during the grow lol. Depends on the strain too, good seeds yield good plants with large buds. Bag seeds grow outdoor plants that prob wont help you as well as not be huge producers.
@FRiEDcameltoe no - you need to check the ppm - plus as you add nutes afterwards, the ppm will rise. In the end product of making your water nute solution, best practice for most strains is to keep the ppm around 1800 to avoid burning etcc.. If you see it go over 2000, just add more RO water to it in order to bring the PPM back down. My sink brings water out at 800ppm and when I ro it, brings it to 25ppm. Then I add nutes.
@FRiEDcameltoe I wouldn't recommend doing it, just for the fact that tap water has a bunch of softeners and crap in it, I go to Walmart and buy 5 or 6 gallons of spring water to feed mine, and use that to mix with my nutes. Thats just me tho

@sativaxindica024 When u cure, make sure there's no moisture in the stems before jaring them. There's no set amount of 'days' for this. Then once jaring them, make sure to burp the jars throughout the day.

It's just a matter of opening the lid for a second, take a good smell and smile then put the lid back on. I was taught to also keep the jars in the dark during the process. I feel like trimming is easiest right after harvent, or when they are totally dry. Trimming during the drying process is a pain because the leaves are limp and wilty.
@cruwysgirl , you should trim the leafs, and after dry the buds and cure them. Other wise it would be har as fuck to trim eith dry leaves. When the leaves would be trimmed, keep them, and make some jash ;)
im very new at this, and i dont understand.. the plant and all the buds on it should be ready to harvest at the same time, after i cut them all the plant wont die? he will grow again from the same point i've cut the branches?
i didnt get a chance to flush my plants cause there have been a couple of days that were close to freezing and i went ahead and pulled them cause a good freeze was coming,they look great but i just got done fertilizing them 3 days before pulling them,so how long will it take to cure do you think?
normaly what i do is i make sure its super dry then i take some of the leaves i cut off that are stored in a air tight container and then i put the buds back in with the leaves so some of the moisture is put back in the bud.
dude your weak we grow at my house with 1 thousand watt MH and a thousand watt HPS and you dont put the weed in the jar damp you want your buds completely before the jars because they will taste moldy
damm, I am just sick over this... my year I tried to grow... I got many different strains,,but i really only like kush... over a week ago I harvested my biggest plant. 6ft..10 inch's... many many cola's... I hung them up for a few days... and then put them in tuperwhare containers.... well needless to say, all the sugars are gone.
two big 8 inch buds are completely discolored... from mildew.. I took all the buds out of the tuppewhare and put them into glass jars... but all the taste is gone.
@anyshitt... wait til they dry 1st before containing them somewhere airtight. and open the container daily to release excess moisture. . the outer bud feels dry but there was a lot of moisture left inside the bud.

omg I just figured out the coolest thing.. I have an old plastic water jug.. the big rectangular kind with a round lid on the top. so i have my bud in there curing and I can suck the air out through the water spout then it seals up air tight when I let it shut. sweet.
@DisInfoWars plants are not worth anything. the buds are. depending on how good it is and what kind of strain. if you have regular crap bud, don't expect to get much. if you have a high quality strain , it all depends on where you live. if you're in an area that has lots of good bud, it will be norm to pay 200 oz. if you're in an area that almost never has anything good except regs you will make 500+ or more per oz.
@Stacmeister911 if your're using t5's its good to use half veg and half bloom from start to finish. some use hps and its their preference. but remember. its the tech that makes it, it's the guys ambition and experience that creates the end result
the Sour D ive had is never as good as the NYC ive had, different growers so that may make a difference, but the NYC is always more "diesely" and longer lasting.
i really cant think of a bud that compares to NYCD in scent... nothing really comes close to the amount of dankity dieseley reek. the grower i get it from cures it for about 2 weeks, then when i get it i keep most of it in the dark in a glass jar like these for at least another week, really brings out the diesel... ALOT... like burns your nose..
@stupidplants Sour D and anything with the post-label Diesel is better than NYC here in Southern California. NYC diesel is also sold as an indica, but Sour D is a sativa.
@stupidplants Different growers means different genetics.. what many people fail to understand is yeah you might have some diesel, but there are so many different genetic variables of plants.. they are called pheno types. If I order a 10 pack of diesel seeds and you did too.. theres a good chance we wont end up with the same pheno type.. I may have a more potent plant, while you may have a stinkier one.. mine may only take 8-9 weeks to flower while yours may take 10-11 weeks.
of course its different genetics, were talking about two completely different strains.
and what your talking about is not pheotype. phenotype is color.
your talking about the parent P1 then the offspring F1,F2, so on and so fourth. if your getting 1st generation seeds from the same company, you should always have the same results. the further down the line you go the more variation there is.
@stupidplants ..phenotype is not color, it the the genetic drifts between the 2 parents. Imagine 2 parents with 5 different kids. No 2 kids will be exactly alike. some may look more like others but not the exact same. That is phenotype.

@TheLastFlowerShmeow ... it depends on where you live and the time of the year. In Colorado, mid summer, 5 days and its ready for jars. 12 hours in/out is too long out of the jars when curing. Better to burp it in 30 minutes intervals 2-3 times a day for the 1st couple days until all excess moisture has sweated out. And no... big buds won't mold in your jars when u do it right.

Its all about the air circulation and the temp in the room. The temp must stay cool if it is too humid mold will find its way into your buds. Should be left upside down in a darkroom without any interruptions. After about 5-7 days your bud should be ready for phase 2. Next your buds should be put into a glass jar for about 2 weeks. Everyday the jar should be opened about 2-3 times so the buds can get fresh air. Once that is done its time to roll a fatty and enjoy your BUD.
@marijuinnalover123 people use those canning jars specifically because it's close, if not, air tight. And it's glass - crystals will bind to plastic, so that cancels out using plastic bags or tupperware.
@supergreenacres yes you want to put the buds into the jar when it is still wet, no shit that's the whole purpose of curing. You're basically slowing down the drying process and getting that last bit of moisture out that the drying couldn't get to without completely drying out the rest of your buds. After drying it's like the banana that's been sitting out that's turned yellow but still has a little green left in it and all it needs is that final cure to turn yellow and be ripe.
you gotta open the jar altest 1 time a day,and cureing weed is like wine the longer your cure it the better it smokes,tastes,smells,and stickyness trust me im da bluntman i live to grow budda mon :)
yeah i left mine hung up for 14 days then seal in glass tubs and open them once ever few hours then keep sealed i find slow cure tases really nice but if your someplace warm and humi it can be hard to dry slow
supposed to snap fully before jars. not doing it slows the sugar conversion for more potency and better terpens for flavours. and a proper cure is min 3 weeks.
i dont like that wet hey smell by not drying them enough. and should be opening jars a few times a day at first then less each week./ they still produce cannabinoids after being cut and a quicker dry like that is stopping this

also most assume it has to be extremely dry snap, most should know you still want some bend/snap.

omg I just figured out the coolest thing.. I have an old plastic water jug.. the big rectangular kind with a round lid on the top. so i have my bud in there curing and I can suck the air out through the water spout then it seals up air tight when I let it shut. sweet.

@DisInfoWars plants are not worth anything. the buds are. depending on how good it is and what kind of strain. if you have regular crap bud, don't expect to get much. if you have a high quality strain , it all depends on where you live. if you're in an area that has lots of good bud, it will be norm to pay 200 oz. if you're in an area that almost never has anything good except regs you will make 500+ or more per oz.

i really cant think of a bud that compares to NYCD in scent... nothing really comes close to the amount of dankity dieseley reek. the grower i get it from cures it for about 2 weeks, then when i get it i keep most of it in the dark in a glass jar like these for at least another week, really brings out the diesel... ALOT... like burns your nose..

@stupidplants Different growers means different genetics.. what many people fail to understand is yeah you might have some diesel, but there are so many different genetic variables of plants.. they are called pheno types. If I order a 10 pack of diesel seeds and you did too.. theres a good chance we wont end up with the same pheno type.. I may have a more potent plant, while you may have a stinkier one.. mine may only take 8-9 weeks to flower while yours may take 10-11 weeks.

and what your talking about is not pheotype. phenotype is color.
your talking about the parent P1 then the offspring F1,F2, so on and so fourth. if your getting 1st generation seeds from the same company, you should always have the same results. the further down the line you go the more variation there is.

@TheLastFlowerShmeow ... it depends on where you live and the time of the year. In Colorado, mid summer, 5 days and its ready for jars. 12 hours in/out is too long out of the jars when curing. Better to burp it in 30 minutes intervals 2-3 times a day for the 1st couple days until all excess moisture has sweated out. And no... big buds won't mold in your jars when u do it right.

Its all about the air circulation and the temp in the room. The temp must stay cool if it is too humid mold will find its way into your buds. Should be left upside down in a darkroom without any interruptions. After about 5-7 days your bud should be ready for phase 2. Next your buds should be put into a glass jar for about 2 weeks. Everyday the jar should be opened about 2-3 times so the buds can get fresh air. Once that is done its time to roll a fatty and enjoy your BUD.

@marijuinnalover123 people use those canning jars specifically because it's close, if not, air tight. And it's glass - crystals will bind to plastic, so that cancels out using plastic bags or tupperware.
Those jars are cheap, and they do the job.

@supergreenacres yes you want to put the buds into the jar when it is still wet, no shit that's the whole purpose of curing. You're basically slowing down the drying process and getting that last bit of moisture out that the drying couldn't get to without completely drying out the rest of your buds. After drying it's like the banana that's been sitting out that's turned yellow but still has a little green left in it and all it needs is that final cure to turn yellow and be ripe.

yeah i left mine hung up for 14 days then seal in glass tubs and open them once ever few hours then keep sealed i find slow cure tases really nice but if your someplace warm and humi it can be hard to dry slow

supposed to snap fully before jars. not doing it slows the sugar conversion for more potency and better terpens for flavours. and a proper cure is min 3 weeks.
i dont like that wet hey smell by not drying them enough. and should be opening jars a few times a day at first then less each week./ they still produce cannabinoids after being cut and a quicker dry like that is stopping this

When I open the jars my whole room instantly smells like I just butt fucked a skunk (I'm not trying to talk my shit up, this really is some of that weed that people know u have on u from across the room). I've noticed that I only get that hay smell when I don't fully flush the plants. and I do take them out several times a day the 1st few days. I kinda rushed this video for a dude that requested me make 1 for him.. I should have done several clips explaining that

@SuperGreenAcres of course i understand that, but what comes down to it is whats truly right, not what is best for you. not to say by any means you arent getting good results. when the cure is done it will be too crumbly versus slightly gooey, of course its preference i guess but ive always found the slightly gooey buds to be a lot better in every aspect than bud that were obviously dried too long.
also most assume it has to be extremely dry snap, most should know you still want some bend/snap.

@SuperGreenAcres i know you obviously take growing seriously and have some very lovely plants as well as a setup but when someone who has won a cannabis cup several times says to have at least some bend and not to let the bud get overly dry from hanging ill take their word for it no offense.
also as said before with a proper flush it helps a lot with the hay smell, never had that problem really. always smelt great.
to each his own but there is a fine line.

again, ill stick to what the test results tell me for my best ways. not the human opinion that isnt anywhere near as accurate

i dry for 5 days ,, and cured and i got that hays smell,and went to mold.
does aeroponic take longer to dry,, what about putting in the freezer is that good,,

@metubegirl69er dont leave it in a jar for more than 12 hours...then set it out and dry again till its crisp...keep doing this and lowering the cure time 2 hours dry time 2 hours....just keep doing it till your down to 0 and youll never worry about mold again! good luck blessings

well if nitro has to do with them why not run water till its all yellow. cause till you do there is still stored foods in the plant. running the medium to even 0 ppm dont get the food out of the plant. and doing this reduces the thc levels. and i can prove that.
this sucking moisture from stems makes no sence ata ll...you dont cure it afetr a dry...then the rest comes out then. ive done ,many many ways of dry n cures and tetsted alll. so is why i say what i say. do you have yours tested???

@metubegirl69er . It depends on your surroundings on how long u should dry for. If u live somewhere humid it will take way longer. I'm in Colorado and the air is dry as fuck here so It takes less time. freeze it only after it has fully dried.
