I am a stage lll colon cancer survivor so far. I have been in remission since August 2009. I finished my last chemo treatment in October 2009. It was a incredible ride and I hope it never returns. I am a blessed man and thank goodness I paid attention to my symptoms and went to doctor. DO NOT IGNORE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE TOILET, IT IS YOUR LIFE

I am a Colon Cancer Stage III survivor. My colonoscopy saved my life and found my cancer. I had a partial colectomy surgery and chemo therapy. My brother in law also had colon cancer, stage 4 and died on Feb. 11th, 2010. PLEASE, check yourself out, be aware of family history, watch your diet, get help to stop smoking, and share the word. a million thanks to Steve for his candid video!

I had no idea colonoscopies are needed once per decade or that the age to start is 50. I always assumed it was an annual procedure.
