I don't want to sound naive or stupid, but what does updating custom firmware do to your PSP.

it updates to a firmware that will make your game playable. custom firmware will make games run off the memory stick(iso's emulators) offical firmware will run umd games only

In other words, did you find you couldn't run this game on any custom Firmware so you had to upgrade to official to run the UMD copy? I'm just trying to find out if there's a chance that 5.50 GEN-D2 will run the game.

yoshiros decryptor can patch 6.00 and 6.10 games...yes uff..This is the last game for my old FAT PSP..after that I planing to buy slim original..
