  • Keep moving girl, you're doing great!

  • I have H.S and it hurts. :(( Just my armpits and my area.... :l

I just wish I can meet a person (face to face) who knows what the pain feels like, because people DON'T know until they've felt it. :( Ive had it since........before 7th grade and Im in college now. :O It sucks, but I try not to let it get to me. I do go to a dematologist. She has helped me soooo much. (duh, lol) :l I dont like this disease.... makes me sad having it and not being able to talk about it with a person who has it too

  • @junebugg045 I also have HS. It started late 7th grade and I was too embarassed to tell anyone til 8th grade. The medicine didn't work. My experience with my doctor was the reason I didn't go back til 10th grade, and by then it had spread. My chest is now mostly scar tissue, and I have it on other places now as well (including my underarms) I'm 18 turning 19 And I feel like I've missed out on being a teenager. I'm in pain 24/7. I relate completely! If you ever need someone to talk to msg me! :)

  • @mnluver Awww!! Im sorry!!! Wish I could hug you right now!! Dx I actually think Im outgrowing it. I actually turned 19 in June, and Im just thankful that its not as bad as it was. :) I hope yours gets better. If you need anything either, message me too. :)

  • I need to be there working out with you. I have HS too and have had to have both armpit, a chunk across the neck, an area under my right breast, the groin, labia and buttocks done in two seperate surgery. Each was too much surgery at one time, but didn't want to jeopardize my with more than two medical leaves one year after another. Thanks for sharing. Stay strong.

  • Hi everyone! I too suffer from HS for over 25 yrs. On 9/5/10 a pharmacist recommended "Zinc Oxide" and I think I hit the jackpot! In just 3 days of usage the boils/lesions under my left armpit and groin areas no longer hurt, they're drying up and no more oozing. I hope you too try it and have the same wonderful results as me. Good luck and God bless! Annie from FL

  • In case you haven't seen it yet, check out the website for earthclinic (com) lots of stuff about HS

  • I'm so happy to have found people who I can relate to with this disease. I had surgery on my neck in april 2010 and just had surgery august 16,2010 on both arm pits. I am sick of it and ready to tackle this awful disease.

  • Good job. I lost 50 lbs but unfortunately the weight lost did not help my HS what so ever..it's gettign worse and I don't understand why. That is a beautiful song playing while the words are on the screen, can you please tell me who sung that? Thanks.

  • I also suffer from HS. I have been battling this disease for the last 6 years and this last year has been the toughest. I have recently started treating areas of inflammation with tea tree oil. It seems to really be helping! If I catch it early enough they are going away in about 3 -4 days treating the area twice a day. I don't know if you have tried this but I highly recommend it for anyone suffering form this debilitating disease.

  • You go girl !! I admire your great spirit and teaching about this painful disease...

  • ive been suffering with this for three years and im 16, im having both of my armpits operated on come december.

  • I am going to have my second surgery soon. I had the one under my right arm removed but just in the area and i now have a new flare up where the scare is and in the cress of my arm. Now I am about to have the left armpit done but it is much larger. After talking to my plastic surgyen we decided not to have my whole armpit removed. This is so scary and annoying to me. My mom and sister get them as well as a few other family members. I am trying to get healthier to see if it helps some.

  • I can relate to your situation. HS runs in my family all well. Good luck with your next surgery. If this helps any, I have had surgery near the leg/buttock area and never had another problem. Knock on wood.

  • Rifampicin and Clindamycin

Both 300mg twice a day for 3 months

Look it up on PubMed. Works in >3/4 of people

  • Sweeite, I am a lot like you..I have had 2 surgeries, comtiplating on surgery number 3. My arm pits look like a road map to hell and the pain is well unbearable. But, my condition could be much worse...keep up the good work...and thanks.....

  • @wayyonder

Get some pure aloe vera leaf and apply it to your open sores. That will help close them. But if you don't change your diet they will keep coming back.

  • lol girl you just changed it all up, I started looking around. Let me get up and do something b4. You are pushing away all the pain with your healthy life and workouts. Keep up the great job

  • Thats funny

  • LOL@ the end!! I was actually sitting and combing my hair when you started your military talk LOL!! Keep inspiring sweetie you are doing an excellent job!!

  • Girlfriend, just when I think you are doing an awesome job...Just like Emeril...BAM!!! You take it up a notch!!!!

Truly your transparency will help many people with their struggles. I believe this is in divine order that you began this journey on YouTube and although you are helping others you will reap the reward -- health, healing, peace, friendships, self-worth, motivational skills,.....the list will abound. Keep doing it girl!!!

  • What I like about you is that in spite of your HS and the pain you may be experiencing, you are always smiling and are very pleasant..... What a great example you are for others! I'm praying that God keeps that smile on your face while He works on your healing your physical, mental and social state as it relates to HS.

  • You know..... I watched the beginning of the vid ready to post a serious comment and get to the end of the vid and you have me cracking up!! No I'm not eating cake, but I came here to get motivated to get my workout on tonight!

    Sher

  • wow now that is great intensity...I feel the flares will cease...and you will be perfectly fine. Lets you and I do a little study and posting foods and teas that can naturally help the healing process--no matter what the ailment. I want to really start studying more of that...healing with smart foods...good job on clip!!~ahmad

  • You know what I love you. I was sitting here feeling a little down and you made me smile. You are doing an awesome job and I can see the difference. I believe by faith that God will heal you. I was diagnosed with a very painful condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia which affects the facial nerve causing pain and God healed me. I read healing scripture 2-3 times a day like I was taking medicine and I was healed. God is no respector of person. He did for me. He will do it for you....Blessings

  • This is why I decided to spill because we are all going or have been through something. We all need and can use support thank you for giving it to me.

  • The thing that impresses me about you....is that you could totally use this disease as an excuse and you don't. You are that much more motivated! You are looking so good, by the way! I meant to say that in my last comment......Sher

  • hey girl u r doing wonderful :) that weight is falling off you girl

  • Oh so you gave your channel a face lift huh all the free time you have now lol. Thanks for checking on me it means alot

  • yea girl lol:)

  • do you do any particular meal plan? what gives you the determination to workout everyday and be able to record it, that is remarkable!

  • Well I try and cut out process foods like white sugar/ flour, added sodium. I try and make sure I eat lean meats such as chicken and fish. I have been giving juicing a try to see if it will help with the inflammation. I'm still learning how and what agrees and doesn't agree with my body. Doing the videos hold me accountable to making a change.

  • She knows that if she doesn't...I'm coming to look for her. She doesn't live that far from me. LOL I will be pounding on her door, if she doesn't keep up the good work she's been doing.
