There's a hint of Ristar in this... I'm wondering if Tim Follin did any work on it, but I can't find anything. I swear, this tune reminds me of the first level of Ristar.
Uh, Tim worked on multiple video game titles, from 1985 up until 2006. I haven't read anything about him working on Ristar though, but the resemblance is uncanny to me.

@AisuSeijin Tim only worked on one game: Time Trax for the Mega Drive. But it was cancelled.
