After growing up in Vancouver, I moved to hope when I was 25 and lived there ever since. My kids have grown up here. I like it that I can walk down to the river to fish, Go hiking without getting into my car and I run my business from here. The guy who said boring probably thinks we don't have cable t.v cause that's probably all he does all day. Get a life. GO HOPE GO!!!

Best thing about BC is the salmon, catching them is so awesome, brings you close with nature. It's mountain fresh, green everywhere.. other than the color of the Fraser river. That's where BC pride comes from
I've lived in the city West Van/Van/North Van my whole life. I stopped in Hope today just passing through. Now I want to live there. For the same price as my city apartment I can have a house with a yard and be away from traffic and noise and crowds. I hope I get there soon.

@ferderov Not sure what afarro73's deal with Hope is but,i find it a very exciting town.It's close to everything i like to do.It's close to many friends i have in the immediate area,and i've always been treated well there considering my car has Alberta Plates....

Cool vid ferderov,i'm going to be staying 2 nights in Hope this coming weekend.Doing the Abbotsford Airshow Sat and spending some time roaming the town.Going to do the rambo tour and and seek out the best burger in town....Any suggestions?
Personally,I like the burgers at Skinny's in Silver Creek.They don't use normal buns,I think they use foccacia,and you can get yam fries with a mayonnaise pesto dip.If you want a "normal" burger, Live music there on Saturdays as well, and apparantly this Friday too.The Home restaurant gives you huge portions.Line ups can be long sometimes and it usually takes a while to get your food, but usually worth it.Well, the last time I went there, anyways. Have fun this weekend!

Overall,this yrs trip was great aside from it being 12 degrees too hot.34 cel is crazy in that valley.We're back out there in a few weeks for a bit of fishing.Nice little town Ferd,It really is.We might stay at the Lucky Strike.Seems like a nice,clean place.

I love Hope. I travel to BC on vacation every September. Fly to Seattle or Van. and drive thru to Manning Park and see everything in between. Hope is a nice convenient town to stop in for a quick bite while travelling. I love the Yale area too, wish I could live out that way...instead of the worlds cesspool (Pennsylvania).
Great video. Hope is a beautiful little town for those that can see past the downtown core and its problems. Don't make it look too good though, or people will come in droves and turn it into the cities we came here to escape from! ;P
I moved into chilliwack from Hope, I use to live in " SilverCreek " and moved away due to the drug impact that happened there, and still is. It is a nice place though.

I love it here.. i live in silver creek and by the so called biggest drug dealers.... but they got busted about 8 times since january hahaha/.. wow my lifes story

Yeah, its right next to the Colonial 900 motel. I stayed there once. A nice old couple were running the place. Don't you like Rolly's? Thats some good eatin.
It's alright.I'm more of a glutton lol,and like monster portions,so would rather go to the Home on the old hope princeton hwy,near Chevron.The lineups are usually long,and so is the wait,but worth it.Papandreas is pretty good though if you like Greek.
