You sure can! And not only do they survive, they flourish. Built into each tank is a 3 or 4 stage biological filtration system and access to the tanks are as simple as removing the glass tops. My friend you shouldn't have to be changing your water just maybe 20% now and again to keep your fish healthy but again access is simple.
