  • i love neal!but this really suck

  • hey man, hey everyone reading this. look, i found this old file on my computer, just wanted to share it cause i thought it would be cool thing to show to every Neal Morse fan. i'ts a Creation cover i made on a keyboard some time ago.

  • Let us Pray Morse learns to sing and compose better Oh Lord.

  • @BetterTasteThanU what is wrong with you ? neal's voice is amazing and the music aswell. he's a genius, yes it's a matter of opinion but why do you watch videos of music you don't like ?

  • Bad music, worse singing.

    horrible.

  • why is jesus comming soon?

  • @waylonsus Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Megan Fox. He should have already done it .

  • @josia89 it you dont like this why the hack do you upload it

  • man... you can really feel the early genesis on this one... no coincidence it's called "creation" i guess

  • haha

  • imature yes, but its early and i'm bored, so because I look at all these comments and see not a single swear word which is (odd for youtube).......

    FUCK.

    thats all. :D

  • That's because it's a Christian song. And very immature, btw. Congratulations, you just made youtself look like an idiot.

  • Thank you :)

  • No such thing as preaching "too much." Neal knows what he's doing and he's doing it so very well. His music changed my life forever. I wonder how many people he has brought to God with his awesome talent and lyrics. God bless you, Neal!

  • Praise the LORD!

  • you mispelled neal and i like it too very much

  • That CD "One" really is an awesome work.

    God bless you Neil!

  • "attitude"? If anything, Neal Morse's religious ideas have made his music more inspired, passionate, and EPIC.

  • @Jaemseh I agree - it is good to believe in God.

A poet said it well: "no wind blows in the favor of the ship with no port of destination."

Plus Neals got a great testimony.

  • @Jaemseh His religious ideas? plz go on.....He believes in christ and the bible? groundbreaking.....If anything his religious undertone is a turn off for most. To assume his musical talent is at all related to Religion is just.....kinda stupid....

  • prog-rock vom absolut feinsten!!!

  • He didn't waiver to Gods calling, He followed his convictions and because of that he is creating some amazing Christian music that utilizes the Prog Rock style..It is Inspiring..

  • He is following his convictions. You either accept it or move on. Neal thankfully has not abandonned his craft. he is a true musical genious. Thats mot a cliche.

  • Well, of course Neal doesn't care about my opinion: it is just that, an opinion. I would rather just have him play the good old Spock's Beard normal progrock songs. As you say, 'people evolve in ways that aren't always seen as best' - yes, they do - and Neal Morse has proven that. His religious path in life is his choice and I thoroughly respect that!. Its just I feel he preaches a little _too_ much in the music.

  • @SkUnKaDeLiC I have actually changed my mind on this matter. Please Neal, stick with God..

  • Hey, does anyone know what Neal thinks of vegetarianism? Does he eat meat? How does he feel about this?. This issue has been bugging me for a while, if only some nice person would present some Prasadam to him, I don't know...maybe he could stop all this animal slaughter in a small way?(any way is good).. how can he go along with "Thou shalt not kill" and still eat meat?. Neal, please stop kililng the animals, for George Harrison if not you, he who did so much to guide people to the Lord.

  • 'Thou shalt not kill" was written by a man not a god, and it refers to killing humans. Killing for food is natures way. Lions and tigers kill for meat in order to live. Are you telling me they shouldn't and become extinct. If you were on a desert island with no vegetation and only tigers, would you refuse to kill them to survive and let them kill you so they could survive. Do you see how ridiculous the vegetarian argument is. Do it if you want but don't preach to others.

  • @paragonuser For a start Neal himself is vegetarian as it says in his Testimony book, and to answer your question: of course if I were on a desert island with no vegetation and only tigers I would kill the tigers and eat them. That is human nature, but the point is that we don't need to eat meat and God has given us the brains to see that it is plainly wrong. There is a much better alternative, meat-eaters will moan and say things like "what about the protein"? A vegetarian diet contails plenty!

  • And I don't see that the vegetarian 'argument' is rediculous at all, have you even read "The Higher Taste"?. Its available free online. It's a religious choice also, and as the third largest religion in the world, Hinduism, is vegetarian, are you trying to call all Hindus idiots or something because they choose to be vegetarian, for spiritual reasons besides the sentimental nonsense - just because the western society sees the slaughter of animals for taste purpose fine, doesn't mean it is. Peace

  • I have only checked out Neal's solo stuff tonight on YouTube and I have to say it is pretty intense. I think one of Spock's Beard's weaknesses with Morse was the lyrics anyway, so overtly Christian lyrics don't change much. Since a lot of progressive rock has overtly religious themes (Yes, Genesis, Gracious, Flower Kings), I don't see how this is even an issue.

  • @Anglagard1 The thing is, it's not an issue, its just he didn't feel comfortable doing such religious songs with SB, and the other SB members I assume didn't feel comfortable about it. Listen to his Testimony.(soon to be updated with Testimony 2!).

  • Cristo Vive!!! Él reina por los siglos de los siglos!!!!!!!

    Aleluya!!!!!!!

    Jesus is coming soon!

    Jesus is coming soon!

    Jesus is coming soon!

    Ezequiel

  • christian or no christian, neal rocks! i don't know why u guys say it isn't like it used to be... people evolve in ways that aren't always seen as best, but who cares about "your" opinion? i bet neal doesn't

  • great stuff i like it!

  • About neal's spiritual life, i think nobody got anything to do with it! When marlyn mason sings about satanism and shit people say nothing. Now just because Neal found a good path in life people are freaking out on him, for what? Singing about love, peace, and his God? I see nothing wrong with it.

  • People judge Neal because people are mean and in their arrogance, they do not trust in God anymore! he is criticized because he believes in Jesus, who is The Way, the Truth, the Life! If Neal had embraced judaism, islam or buddhism, he wouldn't have been discredited!

  • Total NONSENSE. "If Neal had embraced judaism, islam or buddhism, he wouldn't have been discredited!"... err, maybe he wouldn't but only out of people not willing to say what they really think, in this politicaly correct world. Anyone who creates such amazing songs like "At The End Of The Day" and "The Great Nothing", then starts stuff like "King Jesus", has turned mad in some kind of way. His music is still _wonderful_, and a lot of the lyrics hit a sweet spot...

  • ..But the point is, he _has_ changed. Not for the better, that is sure. He is not a bad musician, or lyricist, he is brainwashed and obsessed in my opinion, and it clearly shows in his (still great) releases. He could have carried on Spock's and still been a Christian.. wasn't he already?!. Look at other artists who have suddenly gone all faith-crazy, it ruins their music mostly. With Neal it isn't true, his music isn't _ruined_, it just doesn't have the magic as with SB did. He is still good.

  • As I am saying, he is still good.. but the Christianity element IS damaging to the overall power of the music, progrock is about freedom to me, not the constraints of religion.. he has been truly brainwashed and those that have done it to him: be ashamed. He would be writing a follow-up to Snow, or a beater to "The Light" by now. Actually at least Lifeline isn't so full of God God God (I have heard most of it), but a lot of lyrics are still 'infected', and I am religious myself. it just detracts

  • "progrock is about freedom to me" so Neal Morse shouldn't have the freedom to write lyrics with a christian theme?

  • Look at dream theater, after 22 years they still make music, while other bands from their time is long forgotten! Pick a fucking instrument, start learning some shit and and you'll see how ur conception will change about it! i used to like punk before learning guitar! Today i fucking hate it! Such a weak style, no passion nor feeling nor creativity to it! Styles like MCR is what gives music a bad name!

  • The strength of punk is in the lyrics, not the instumentation. When I discovered bands like Dream Theater, I started to hate punk and other simple music, but after a few years I understood that punk music can be art too, because of it's emotion, atmoshpere and massage. For example Polish band Armia- their lyrics arepoetry, they use alot of uncommon instruments, they are inspired by medieval art, they sing about moral problems- their style is hardcore punk- their music is meaningful anr inspiring

  • I love it!

  • MCR = No talent.

(plus, they're just an image being sold to kids who want to feel like rebels...)

  • Who the hell is MCR?

  • you dont wanna know, trust me

  • 12, is the best song in my opinion. It makes me travel.

  • i want to see neal in argentina

    when he come... ?

  • oh, how I long for the days when he led Spock's Beard....he seemed much more dedicated to the musical part of it, and not the God devoted lyrics...alas, change is inevitable....

  • Some of the weakest guitar work I've ever heard from a professional musician.

Not to mention his sloppy synth playing and his weak, cracking vocals.

    Just a terrible performance.

  • pretty ignorant comment there in my opinion, it just makes it sound like you havent actually listened to any of his work apart from this.

  • directed at NGCG btw

  • Um, are you deaf? This is an awful performance by Neal.

I own every one of his post SB releases and those albums are all very good (minus Sola).

How does me disliking a terribly sloppy performance make it sound like I haven't heard any of his work? You're the only one sounding ignorant.

  • I gotta agree. I highly respect Morse for his music, but that was horrible guitar playing, and he usually sings much better.

  • Well his voice gets thrashed after he's been on the road a while and this is probaly the worst band he toured with (I'm not sure who it is but it sounds like that).

  • Says you who has a MCR video on your profile. Go away.

  • Wow, way to be defensive. That has nothing to do with this and is just petty and a sign that you have lost this argument.

PS: MCR's last album destroys Sola Scriptura.

  • ROFL, "MCR's last album destroys Sola Scriptura" ... that's probably the funniest thing I've ever heard. Neal/Portnoy/George, etc. has 20x more talent than MCR. Not to mention, Neal has Jesus flowing through him.

I do admit, his guitar playing is weak in this video, but the tone is just ... really weak. Neal still rocks!

  • Oh yeah, one more thing, I simply love the synth riff on this song. Especially on the album... it's so intensely cool! I love the drums behind it, too! Music at its best, IMO. (referring to studio version)

  • man your just being way to sacrilegious

  • MCR's last album destroys SS? That's like saying Britney Spears newest album owned Beethoven's seventh. Shut the fuck up. This guy is the greatest musician of our time while MCR is just a stupid pop band.

  • Anyone who listens to MCR is a disgrace

  • That has nothing to do with it. You claimed MCR's last album destroyed Sola Scriptura. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. SS isn't Neal's best album but MCR is some horrible shitty pop band. If Neal was a mute he would still be a better singer than the guy from MCR. I didn't call you an MCR fan. I don't care just don't ever fucking say anything to do with MCR even is anything more than shit compared to Neal Morse.

  • NGCG Do you even know whats progressive you dumbfuck!? Cuz if you did you you woudn't be saying this shit!"Neal will be forgotten instantly once he stops making music because not much of it is innovative and worthwhile." I don't think you have any fucking idea of what just came out of you! Let me tell something about progressive music! It's always innovative! Well u like MCR so guess you don't know what innovative

  • "Neal will be forgotten instantly once he stops making music" and?

anyways, people won't forget if they like it.

  • @grhto Damn right!.

  • does god love this music? or he prefers something different?

is neal morse making something good for god?

will we listen to his cds in heaven?

    g.b.y.

  • yess, we will dear eyescream666

  • Splendid performance, albeit the guitar tuning sounded a bit off. Way to go Neal! Hillsong's gonna have a run for their money.

  • Great musician, great show! Saw him three days ago...wow! God quality of the video and sound!

  • Es totalmente Increible!

    Que Dios los bendiga!

  • lol sounds like neal is messing up on the electric but im a drummer so idk,...

  • i wonder how the group from the testimony tour would have performed these songs....they were great as well..

  • I've rarely, if ever, seen anyone who has music flowing through him/her, like it flows through Neal Morse. I mean it's just gushing out from him like a torrent. Awesome!

  • surprisingly really good quality.

  • Neal makes a few mistakes but I saw the London show and I couldn't hear any mistakes in the whole show. Fantastic video.

  • i like the voice of morse.but sadly i like rudess than morse.but this is awesome..

  • Jordan Rudess didn't play on One's "Creation" (and he can't sing), so I really don't understand your point. Neal is my fav musician of all time, but i really don't like his voice that much!

  • awsome indeed, thanks a lot for the video. too bad the live version sounds a bit awkward :S

  • Yeah! This is from the "?" tour, those musicians are great, specially the guitarist.

  • guitarist is Elisa Krijgsman. he produced our album. amazing musician!

  • Thanks!! Whoaaa I have to check your material!

  • Awesomeeee!!!
