don't waste your time on this game. It's broken. Why do you think it went free to play? They subscribers from the broken version that people could play and they never gathered enough subscribers because the work you have to go through to actually get into the game isn't even worth it and has a very high chance of not even working.

The forum is packed full of complaints about the game not working going as far back as 3 years ago and they never fixed it.

@Tackzi That's bullshit. Since the game launched, FunCom has overcompensated big time for the bad launch, and players are now swimming in content to level 80, just from the open world game play. The instances are superfluous now, and I guess the only reason they have to be unlocked is that they are as good entertainment as going to the movies. Ever done Black Castle?? Man, the Indiana Jones moments alone are priceless. I would give FunCom 50$ for that experience alone!

nothing is free! all raids except 2 are blocked for premium user, old players can not use their fast mount and must pay extra, u can only choose 2 character to play.. sory but under free i have another understanding of this.

its in fact a great danger to mmos, beacause they install a 2 class society like RL in games.. imagine you play with someone and he tells you, he cannot participate the raid, beacause he is poor. nice new world...

All unrated means is that the game is Free to Play with some exceptions. A.k.a Limited number of character slots and classes to choose from, however all the content for the first game 'Hyborian Adventures' is available with the exception of like some dungeons and raids I think.

@mermoqqueijo Unrated means they do not have to submit content to be rated by the ESRB. This means they can get more "creative" with fatalities and other adult content if they want to without any red tape holding them back. The game will always be faithful to REH source material.

I don't remember seeing anything about "100% / complete / from point A to Z free 2 play." It all depends on what YOU think free to play should be. Actually, the game IS free to play, to a certain degree. The way things are planed now, the game will be very accessible in its new f2p form and much better then just a simplet Tortage (starting zone) trial. Look it up.

The bad thing is that people are misled by "free to play" label given to many p2p games and they discover that paying users have an upper hand only after a month or so. @deeeyon I played LOTRO as a free player to max lvl and I never ever noticed any difference between free and premium users,except a little more grinding for points.Champions online is a bit specific, because of unique class system, but thats mostly PvE oriented game,so it doesnt matter so much.What you are referring to is PvP aspects,and its same for all "f2p" mmos,not only ex-p2p.I'll say it again,we get to play games for free.If you want to be absolutely equal to premiums,you missed something

So what im pointing at its advertising it as "free to play" call it "Champion's online with some free elements" and it will be true. Still Age of Conan might be balanced, it happens sometimes.
