Another great pool table cleaner is the Royal or Dirt-Devil hand vacs. That's what we've used on my parent's pool table since they got it in 1995. Since they've got the rotating brushroll, they are pretty good about dislodging crumbs and "pills" on the fabric too.

I would of used my dirt devil handy 150 but its on a very high shelf and I had my henry at hand anyway, also I did it for the comedic affect, it looks far more funny using a full size cylinder then a hand vac lol
