  • I love this piece! It is so playful and cute and some humour in it. And the dancers are amazing!

  • music by Drigo, not Bayer.

  • ohhhhh thats cool i love htis ballet and the hair ...AWSOME

  • strong technique, brilliant music, comic humour. what's not to love? 5 stars!

  • Surely the first six minutes or so of the score is from ''Reveil de Flore'? But it wasn't uncommon for music to be switched between different ballets.

  • However, you are correct that the music was being considered for the 1900 premiere of Les Millions d'Arlequin. Petipa took the adage from La Perle and had Drigo add variations and a coda. Alas, it ended up on the cutting-room floor when it made the Harlequinade a little too long for the Hermitage Theater, where the seats weren't that comfortable. What's left is essentially Millions d'Arlequin music.
