  • i am going to agree with someone from a previous comment that said your stance really took away from your legs... I assume that is the best pose for you to bring all of your best lines? anyway... you looked great dude, conditioning was spot on... i am hoping to be close to the same in that respect come this August... (hoping to compete in the NPC bama show.) Kind of shooting myself in the foot being a natural guy competing in a non-tested show..

  • @AIFitnesslife Carbs expand when you cook em... Could easily under eat in carbs.. As for meats contract when you cook em when they lose water and fat.. So you could under eat in protein.. Just a guess

  • Yo bro whats your take on calves? I think its gentics for size and shape , i have done a video on this and i wanted to hear some others on this topic. Thanks bro and for sure if that guy was your age you would have owned him end of story.

  • @BeastBodyBuilding yeah, I think calf development is majorly genetic. There are people who don't work them at all and they're huge and sexy. That said, they still have potential to grow like any other muscle within respectable proportions.

I was just talking to whole bunch of my gym bros there always mirrin my calves saying they wish they had calves like mine, some of them train hard some are lazy on training them. I also train EVERY muscle group intense my proportions are good now just need to get every thing bigger.   • @BeastBodyBuilding BTW broski your symmetry, proportions i think where better then the guy who beat you and you look more lean / dry / lower bodyfat % then him. He just had like you said 5lbs+ extra muscle on you.

  • He seems to be a good 20-25lbs heavier than you, Matt. If he's only 10lbs heavier just goes to show how superior his genetics are because his insertions and muscle bellies are far superior than yours.

    Still you put on the work, i though you would be more conditioned in the end as well as fuller but good work noneoftheless.

  • @PNUTSHUFFLEZ323 I didn't really start DL'ing seriously til 18. Squat I'll guess high 200's for a max. bench was probably at a max of 225 or so.

  • @flexforall2 i'm 18 and thought i would never be able to come close to you (i'm a tall and lanky build) but now that gives me hope lol, i look hella skinny compared to you but my bench max is 250 and my squat is 325 so maybe one day
