Why is that a wierd consist? If you are referring to the viewliner that is because now instead of getting off and switching trains in albany they just connect the new york and boston sections.
@ck4049 I get that the horizon is out of place even though they use it regularly on this train but amfleet 2 is used on all long distance trains the only reason you don't see it is because this is the only overnight train from boston
Not only is the Horizon rare to see in the NE, it's also in Phase IV.

@fredfredburger1213 The Horizon Fleet is usually in the midwest, and you do not see Amfleet 2 cars New England too often.
