Hi Denisesewa ...

This was sanctioned contest with registrations and approvals paid to the City of Ventura. The board surfers you see were violating the bounds set up for the competition. In this case the surfers were aggresively trying to break up the competition. All of the guys you see surfing in these clips are good citizens in the surf and many are avid board surfers, so learning surf etiquette is not really something they need to do.

Ok, well I'm glad there is an explanation, I think most who watch the vid would see it as I did though so its good you responded, Thank You ! I am grateful to have earned the respect of the surfers here as I am the only local waveskier, its a shame there has to be bad blood.
