The front tires at least are not slick. See 1:30 (almost 1:31) and you can see the treads on what are aggressive but not slick tires.

I used to own a 62 Lotus Super Seven that I'd use to chase the blues away in Connecticut.  I nicknamed it The Cure. Didn't matter what ailed you. Now I live in Florida and the roads are straight and flat. Not a place for a Seven. But I miss it nonetheless.

Caterhams of ANY spec are fantastic. You can have one from about £8,000 - if you look around carefully.
