  • Tell Daniel he is an inspiration to other kids!!!! Our son is going to get the same standing wheelchair Daniel has and we are going to work hard to get him where Daniel is...thx for the motivation you guys!!! So many parents get discouraged by therapists who just want your child sitting happily in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives....thx again so much for sharing Daniel's success...:)

  • @zach10561 You are very welcome! Glad that Daniel's videos can help others. Anything Daniel can do it, I know other CP kids can do it better! It just take time, patient, hopes, and your encouragements. Wish you best of luck to get the standing wheelchair. Its alots of work taking care of people with CP, but it is very rewarding when you see they made progress. Keep up your good works with your kids as well and success will come your way too.

  • way to go Daniel! You and your mom have inspired us so much!!!! You guys are so awesome!

  • @zach10561 It comments like yours that inspire us to keep working hard. Thank you.

  • WALKINGDAN Daniels Mom their is a girl you wrote to who you can help with a little advice, she can walk but needs a Gait Trainer like your son, she is on her own I think at 19 years old anyway she may not know about a Gait Trainer being a option for her who can crawl, walk with someone holding her so I think a Gait Trainer would help her be mobile outside her wheelchair that will lead to pressure sours. "Walking" under powerchairchick you wrote to her about cp medication
  • 3:17 That is terrible to stop him (Daniel) from standing and walking on his own. Thus, that is counterproductive.

At least Daniel gets plenty of opportunities for gait improvement at home.

  • @CaitlinBrooksMusic You are right, but his school district don't care about Daniel, they know if they can stop him from any gross motor activities within short period, Daniel will develop deformities, which will prevent him from doing anything except to be confined to a wheelchair and his bed. That way his school doesn’t have to teach him anything.

  • Daniel can turn on his own. Needed a little help when he ran into the wall.

  • looking great!

    Keep walking Daniel!
