@lildannyish It's probably a first degree burn. It's nothing major so don't get scared lol. By now your burn should be somewhat healed but next time you get a burn run it under some cold water for about five minutes. Then rub a little petroleum jelly on it and put some bandages on it. Or some gauze rolls. Which ever works for you.

Leaves out alot. What about the warning of not putting on butter or cream etc? (The skin is still cooking. Stuff on holds heat in.) What about not putting anything on top of peeling off skin?

what if the blister pops on its own and their is open flesh what do you do? i am unsure of what to do because it is on my upper arm by my arm pit so it is hard to keep a dressing on it.

I'm pretty sure I have a second degree burn on my ear. I was out swimming in the sun for somewhere over 5hours. I popped the blister the day after I saw it by accident, but any idea how long I have to leave this yellow blister on my ear before it gets better? Because I have really bad luck when it comes to burns...

i got a second degree burn on my knee because of a bucket of steaming hot water. don't ask how the water got to my knee and not to my foot. i got scared to look at it after a few minutes bcuz the skin is not covering the area below it(i don't know how to say that in a correct sentence) after like 3 hours my dad gave me an ointment and after 14 hours, i was typing this comment ; )

My friend has severe burns. In fact, I've never seen worse burns on a person who also survived the wounds, and I used to be a firefighter.

He lost 4 body parts and has to wear special gloves in order to perform fine-tuned motor skills w/ his hands. And he can't feel anything in some parts of the areas he burned, especially where he received third-degree burns.

I have a second degree burn on my arm.... cause i was trying to get something out of the oven and i hit my arm on the oven door... It happen friday morning.... its like red around it and i itches what do i do?

@mil3yf4n09 I think it may be a first degree burn, do not apply ice, it might break the skin and injure you more. Gently apply a wet cool or cold clothe to the burn and apply light pressure. If aloe vera gel is available, apply on the wound, if not, any kind of antiseptic liquid or gel may be used. Do not use a bandage with adhesive, only gauze or soft clothe. Make sure the gauze or bandage leaves air for the burn to heal. Good luck!

I have a burn in a hard to reach area. In between my toes. I am not sure third of second. I steped on a buring board, it had a nail red hot, in it and it went through my shoe and in between my toes. It hurts BAD and is bleeding a bit. On my way to the hospital is this right(not waiting for a respose lol)

It's not third degree, a third degree burn is deep tissue damage but you can't feel the pain since its nerve endings have been destroyed.

yeah thanks you really helped but about the kicking them in the balls and biting them part... there are 4 boys they are mental and they are like the school gangsters .. if you mess with them suddenley you have 100 chavs to dill with and then ... 1 of them takes steroids.. they all do drugs and one of them is 6 ft 5 and hench... so yeah bit of a problem

well, it is probly a 2nd degree burn, but maybe you should go to doctors and get it checked out, otherwise rap it in cling film, and let it breathe for like 30 mins a night and redo the cling film until it heals

i would go to hospital but i dont want to tell me my mum i got bullied and i cant go on my own coz im only 13 and it happened in the middle of lunch break in school so i cudnt put any immediate attention on it for quite a long time ... will it become worse or infected because i didnt wash it or rap it in cling film??/
