Just did this entire look using the coastal scents 88 original palette and loreal infallible eyeliner.

So.. those are great inexpensive alternatives for the eyes!

I really like the new style of filming, where you do your eyes in front of the camera for people to see how you apply your lashes and mascara, where as before you would edit that out, and it felt like we missed something. Also, I like that you're blending all the way, on camera, like you would in real "time". I'm sure beginner and people with experience already will all appreciate the extra seconds, to really learn how to blend beautifully!

I found the easiest way to get lip stain or long wearing lipsticks off is to use some petroleum jelly, let it sit on the lips a few minutes and you can wipe it off. I love this look, I'll be trying it for sure.

I LOVE all of your tutorials. But everytime i try them it doesnt work.

1. I wear glasses

2. i have almond shaped eyes with not very much space between my socket and eyebrow.

3.i would really like to know how to do some amazing dramatic eye makeup. or even something soft that has lots of deatail.. it always seems to get lost somewhere in my glasses . .:/

@jumping4free i have a hard time with that as well! when i wear my glasses (sometimes i wear contacts if im going out or have time) i wear a more neutral eyeshadow, or just the base, and wear colored eyeliner on my top lids as pop of color. if u have thinner frames u could pull it off, but if your frames are on the thicker side, instead of the bright eyeliner you could try a neutral shadow with a brighter tone on your crease.

I have a question/problem. When I wear eyeliner on my waterline, it stays for about a couple of hours but after that it ALWAYS smudges underneath and i look like i either have terrible eye circles or I just can't wear eyeliner properly(this sometimes happens with my eye shadows - maybe its my skin texture/type?) :S what do you suggest I use instead or what are the techniques i could do to prevent the eyeliner smudging. Thanks :)

@pokadotguitar92x If you carefully (and I say this because you don't want eyeshadow in your eyeball!) set the waterline with a matching eyeshadow you should be good. I used to have really bad smudging/bleeding issues but a pat of shadow on my waterline works every time.

@pokadotguitar92x Start by making sure that you have a primer, on your lids as well undereath your lower lash line. Secound after you apply your pencil liner in your waterline, take an eyeshadow in a closely matched color to set the cream. The cream is what is sliding, the powder will absorb some of the moisture to set your liner. You will get several more hours of wear from both steps! Good Luck!

I would be careful of doing this if wearing contact lenses tho :) This should help it stay longer!Oh yes, and instead of using an eyeliner,Ive heard eyeshadow bases work better like NYX Jumbo pencils + the eyeshadow over it in the waterline lasts longer than eyeliner +eyeshadow. Try it out and see which one works for you :)

Before applying your eyeliner, very CAREFULLY and GENTLY run a q-tip along your waterline to absorb the moisture. Also, it might be your eyeline. I suggest using gel eyeliner. It's safe on your waterline (unlike liquid; not safe for your waterline at all) and it lasts forever. ELF has a good gel/cream eyeliner for $3. You get get it on the ELF site or at Target.

@pokadotguitar92x Definitely try using a gel eyeliner on your upper and lower waterline. Just dip your regular pencil eyeliner in the gel eyeliner and line your eyes! Make sure the gel eyeliner is safe enough to line your upper and lower waterline. Also, you can line your upper and lower waterline with the pencil eyeliner, take a tiny brush, tap it in matte black eyeshadow (Glitter and shimmery eyeshadows may fall into your eye!) tap off the excess and dap it on your upper and lower waterline!

@pokadotguitar92x i have this problem SOOOO bad!!! I even stopped wearing eyeliner for a while because it just never worked for me!! I got Stila smudgeproof eyeliner recently and it really is amazing! Not 100% problem solved but it is the best I have found so far. Also if you brush a line of whatever setting powder you use under the lower lash line esp in the outer corner it really helps to prevent smudging :D

What I do is I stick with Stila kohl liner, since that seems to work for me, although find one that works for you, and put eyeshadow primer on your lower lid. If you don't want to put a shadow there it should mostly work on it's own, although you may need to touch up once or twice.

@pokadotguitar92x After you line your waterline, put a matte black shadow (or brown if it's a brown liner) on top of your waterline. It will seal in the color. I like to use Zero 24/7 liner by Urban Decay because it has great staying power. I'll use Carbon by MAC or whatever shadow you have available.

@pokadotguitar92x after you use eyeliner on your waterline, put a matching shadow right one top of. Then, use some loose powder and dab it with a q-tip on your lower lash line, not on the waterline but right below it. That will help the eyeliner not transfer all over your eyelid :)

@dwtbb Hey girl, I work at MAC cosmetics and I can tell you that painterly should not be used with any other base product. pick one or the other and use one. also, dip your brush in a translucent powder, dab of the excess and it will blend like heaven :)
