I Have The Same Dazzle But I Haven't Used It Yet, So Let Me Get This Right, You Have To Play in Low Def, But The Dazzle Records The Hd?, so When I Edit The Video It's Going To Be In Full Hd? And Second Question Does It Record Party Chat Or Any Voice From Headsets?

@PsychoMantisCFH answer to question 1: you play in SD and record in SD but the program allows you to save the recorded clip in HD. if you would like an example them watch my trick launching montage - momentum.

Answer to question 2: yes it records other people voices in party and game chat also voice messages, basically anything that plays out of the speakers, but it doesn't record you own voice. I will shortly make a tutorial on how to do that sometime soon, so stay tooned by subscribing :D

The dazzle sucks because if you move your conrolar it delays it so its bs

@BROSTERYO most tvs do have component inputs but if yours doesnt you need to do the double Y cable meathod which is more xpencive and complicated

i finally got a dazzle platinum so i can start recording some xbox gameplay, but theres a problem the picture on the T.V that is displaying on the laptop window is in black and white its set up correctly so i don't know what could be wrong wether its the xbox as its pretty old its 1 of the first when it came out or it could be that the dazzle is only set to work with electrical equipment in america because i noticed the dazzle software had every country but england so i set it up as USA

@TBDM1969 sorry for the late reply. Yes you can record ingame voice. There are two meathods. One get earphone with a mic built in and a sound recording program such as adacity. The start recording with the dazzle and the audio recording program too. Also you could get turtle beach but I dont know how that works because I dont have turtle beaches :P

I'm pretty sure you can record on the HDTV setting? The reason your component cable has two settings is because it's capable of both SDTV and HDTV. That's why your cable has the yellow male connector.(The yellow is composite why the RGB are component, then the Red and White are audio) Recording in SDTV then saving in HDTV won't change the quality...that's like saving a MIDI music file as an MP3. You should keep it on the HD setting because component inherently has better quality to capture.
