Hello. You seem like a good speaker. Although, I mostly disagree with you. I am a disabled, terminally ill, and suicidal 26-year old. Also, I'm an avid supporter of the right-to-die. I admit though, there ought to be better support in living for the disabled/terminally ill. However, I strongly disagree with the belief that society is trying to force the disabled/terminally ill to die by suicide. People ought to have the right to choose by their own will, decisions based on individual suffering.
Of course, it doesn't help that many of the disabled/terminally ill use the excuse of "burden to family" as a rationale for suicide. If a person wants to die, the main reason ought to be disability/pain, and the loss of quality of life as a result of the disability/pain. Also, physical support by society, as good as it could ever possibly be, might not be enough comfort to some of the disabled/terminally ill. in order to eliminate their desire to die with dignity.
Ultimately though, only they know how they feel and how they are able to cope in their life. Nobody should ever attempt to judge their pain and suffering, and no one ever ought to prevent another person's access to peaceful means of suicide.
