I think it's because if they tried it in japan they'd get their stuff taken down. I know Capcom had youtube take down the videos of the Mega man chip tunes CD

and in the united states I don't think many people know about it. I only found out about it because My friend asked for a monster hunter sound track for his birthday

and I stumbled upon it while looking for one on Play-asia.
