Great slideshow. Life of a FF is tough....but would you have it any other way...and if it was easy everyone would do it...The toughness is what makes you that guy!!!!
The shed must have been filled with gasoline, and then caught on fire. And when he opened the door all of the air left escaped, throwing him backwards. (that is just a guess)
It's called a backdraft. The fire inside of the shed consumes all of the oxygen in the shed, the fire begins to die down, but when the door is opened, all of the oxygen outside is "sucked" into the shed, fueling the fire. this causes the fire to rapidly grow creating a pressure wave, throwing the firefighter.

It's called a backdraft. when the fire inside the shed consumes all of the oxygen in the shed, the fire begins to die down. But, when the shed is opened, it allows more oxygen to rush into the shed, rapidly fueling the fire. this rapid growth appears to be an "explosion" which creates a positive pressure wave throwing the firefighter
Fantastic video! Very emotional, I just wish it had a little something positive in it instead of just the bad stuff the job intails. One other thing, and I do not mean to be insulting or sound like an asshole so take no offense please. Its one thing to love the job, but the true deffinition of a hero is one that commits selfless acts of courage and DOES NOT brag about it. So be proud, but not egotistical.
I come from generations of firefighting and i really loved this video it is very sad what happens to some of us.And people always ask how we do it.But i wouldn't trade it for the world.
That was incredible! If this doesn't get more views than my firefighter video i will be very disappointed cuz your is so much better especially since yours has videos. great work!
