  • Seems legit.

  • $300 (124 WATT PANEL) From Green Power Science. This is the most Convienant and affordable approach i've seen yet,i'm sold.

  • i like the idea of green energy solar...=)

  • Pete, how much watt does your flexible panel produces? How much can you save per month on your electricity bill? Have you calculated it?

Where can i buy the 16ft flexible panel?

    thanks

  • @mixcatcom dear i need one of these where can i get one/

  • dear what would be that best inverter for this 124watt solar pannel..someone plz helpppppppp!!!!!!

  • Great vid thanks for the share : )

  • emorphious thin film is only 10% efficient verses mono or poly "hard" pv at 14-16%. I am all for flexible panels, but the technology is just not up to par yet. This is the same garbage that is used in the cheesy harbor freight 45 watt solar panel system.

  • Those are excellent panels, and we install them along with our metal roofing panels, for which they are designed.

  • MUY BUENO,E ILUSTRATIVO

  • Very cool and not a bad price, good point about the glass....

  • Thats frikkin awesome dude!

    - Jaysen

  • cool :)

  • Thanks Pete for sending me the video, its actually very cool and is a great idea and seems to be working very well... I think you should keep spreading the word of how great these solar panels work and get noticed, good luck to you- Austin

  • Very interesting! How many panels would one need to fully cater to a family's needs, 24.7?, and how long do you think before they become fully cost effective?

  • Nicely done! Keep it up dude

  • great solar panel. mine is 18 inches and sized for my back pack. i tested it on a dead car battery and it charged it by 32% in 2hrs. which was amazing compared to my glass panel ones. mine is made by PowerFilm Solar. i can only imagine how strong it would if longer. great stuff.

  • Very interesting video. You should try submitting this to the show "Shark Tank" on TV. I'm sure that this would be successful.

  • Nice work there! keep up the amazing tinkering and being very innovative.

  • @mixcatcom Great idea I will have to try this out for myself one day

You should try running an 80-Watt Mercury Vapour Lamp on this they last 100 times longer than those Compact Florescent lamps moreover with what’s going on around the world today there wont be much time before we will all have to support our selves with growing our food & supply our electricity Those illuminati bastards are going to make life very difficult for us

  • Fantastic. This is new to me!

  • Hi :-D

    Nice Video.

    V Goooood :-)

  • @mixcatcom BRO...279 FOR 1 16 FOOT PANEL ...did you know you can make your own for way less than that?

  • @anjilyn2 exactly and us in the hotter areas will do well too.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • where did you buy it and how much?

  • @aletoledo1 My supplier said he would extend a discounted price to all my friends. If you look on Amazon they are $350 each we get them for $279 per.

Just shoot me an email if you want some I will hook you up with the contact info.

    -Pete

  • Cooooooooool

  • @AaCompTutsaA ;o)

  • lol thats awesome!

  • where your tripod?

  • insert car batteries in parallel to inverter and split the charging leads in series TO the batteries.

split voltage from panel and use series batts to invter

  • @th86stone The gid-tie takes care of that.. I do have a backup battery bank with a 5K inverter.

    -Pete

  • Thats cool ........where do get them and how much?

    -Pete

  • Are this panels more powerful than the regular rigid ones or just more practical? and how does the prize compare?

  • @Ramiromasters They are lots more durable and honestly I have to test how they stand up. Wait on my next videos I will demo it and give the results.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Do you have a link for where you got the panel?

  • @jtwebman I will have details on where you can get one soon. Im trying to get good rates for my youtubers.

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom Cool thanks for the cool videos!

  • this may sound odd but where is product sold but also if there is A Disaster as a Hurricane there is no grid power or sun light for days I would like a solar panel but i do believe a wind turbin generator would be the device that i would go to recharge my batteries to run my stuff If something bad dose come other then plugging into my car

  • @RCvolunteer1978 Whats nice is even in low light it seems to produce well.. Im working with a vendor and will be able to pass on the info shortly. This one I have is for evail. In a bad storm its good to have many way to create power.

Thanks so much for the post.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom Sorry but as I was trying to say is it was for after the strom, take out of a protected area and started up seconds after the all clear i live in Florida from 1964 Besty to 1993 Andrew 30 yrs of South Florida hurricanes but then 2004 hit with four bad storms that was force me to beg for disability Because I just could not take it no more

  • @HostileHST I have tested my grid tie inverter for months with load and without. I had no issues. I am an electronic engineer and see no issues with it no have I heard of any fires from them. They don't work unless they see the 60hz signal from the gird making it safe even if a line goes down to safeguard against shocking a line repairman. I know a lot of others running them a lot longer then I have with no issues too.

    Thanks for the comments...

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom Comments removed, in other words, I can't find the information I originally read about the hazard. If I had even thought about it, I would have bookmarked it, but Youtube is huge and distracts me easily, especially after a tasty beer, hehe.

  • Hey Pete. Have you ever made a Solar oven? Im planning to make one out of a big aluminum First aid box. :) I would love to hear your feedback on the idea. By the way, LOVE your videos. :) I came for the Beer reviews...stayed for Everything else! :D

  • @Stormclouds777 Thanks for your kind words. ;o) Normally the everything else leads to the beer reviews.. lol

Solar ovens are great and there are some great videos on youtube for that.. I need to do a video on it.. I used a mirror dish to direct the light and a mirrored reflective car widow shield.. It worked great.

Let me know how that project goes.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • I would love more info on this thing!

  • @susannamcintyre I will have some more videos on the install and how it works.. Im also working on a deal with my supplier to be able to offer these to people that would like to buy them. I will let you know how that goes..

They are very cool, the biggest thing for me is if we have storms, or I should say when.. ;o) I dont have to worry about glass breakage.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • Nice intro!

  • @HHO4ALL Thank you sir. ;o)

    I hope your doing well.

    All the best,

    -Pete
