  • I don't see how anyone can hate on this young man's accomplishment with the deadlift. How many of you are lifting the same weight? Congrats to Brandon. I hope you are still doing it!

  • when your that skinny and can deadlift 570 you're allowed to drop the weights

  • he mostly only lifted with his back... bad form :P

  • it didnt count he rocked back and forth

  • That's awesome young man! Keep on doing it.... Peace!

  • Chimpanzee in human clothing. Period.

  • how are these guys so good at deadlift?? i dont get it i can only deadlift like 350lbs and im pretty big

  • @chuckydombroski years and years of picking cotton has given them steal hamstrings and lower backs

  • @nikolatesla08 now i get it :)

  • SUCK 1 U FUCKN CREEP

  • @chuckydombroski same thing with me...but from what people have told me it comes down to form and doing low reps

  • @chuckydombroski well form is def key, no doubt, but check out his arms, they're really long. his range of motion to his lockout is just barely above his knee. if you go and check my video on my page, i have a much longer range of motion due my arms being much shorter. i have to lock it out to just below my waist. i just depends on the length of your limbs, how long you've trained for, and form. different for everybody.

  • @JDiesel301 ahh now i see. i do have shorter arms for a taller guy so i have a larger range of motion! dude thank you

  • buddys hair at 0:25 hahahahahaahahaha

  • wow @ the lower back rounding

  • @keshav0312 you seen it also....lol and the guy at top says perfect form...

  • his attitude sucked back then to,,he was destined to be an asshole,no coincidence every team he goes to turns to shitt

  • @battletested732 not the same brandon marshall dickhead

  • thumbs up if you thought this was the nfl palyer brandon marshall lifting.

  • your supposed to be able to place it down as well

  • @daheatmizzer How do you mean "supposed to"? In competition, setting the weight down is not necessary to count as a completed rep.

    You tryin' to hate?

  • @dlewis1498

in competition u arent allowed to drop the weight and in some cases u can be banned fr that federation for "equipment abuse"

i didnt make the rules, but they are what they are. just saying, dont go around spewing bullshit.

  • Right on.

  • It may not have been pretty, but damn.. it was 570!! Once he puts on a few pounds and fills out he'll be a force of nature. Great strength.

  • 3yrs from now he will prob of had an op on his back from his disks exploding with form like that.

  • awful form

  • I did 460 pounds my freshmen year...

  • god he must have a strong ass back

  • Sir, I hope you overcome all of your struggles with borderline personality disorder.

  • Great lift. How old is he?

  • that last one wouldn't count, he rested it one his thighs, and his back is rounding way to much, others some good stuff

  • @TMFTMusic It's called "hitching" the weight. Counts in the WSM comps. So it counts somewhat everywhere else. If it AINT ugly it aint your max...

  • soft

  • Fk'ing weak ass pussies talking bout from... shut the fuk up. Anybody who lifts big knows it is extremely difficult to do 1 rep max deadlifts with perfect form. It just does not happen.

  • @363498 exactly, just hit my first 500 DL two days ago...

  • see you in 20 years when your are having back surgery

  • @bigET75 I can see your fat ass right now snacking on twinkies and rubbing one out to soft core on basic mcable.. shut the hell up, and pick up some weight.

  • bad form

  • Should really try not to drop the weights in a weight room. Good weight lift, but you are really gonna injure yourself if you keep up that technique.

  • dumbasses, there isnt only one brandon marshall in the world...people can have the same name

  • holy shit that was terrible form

keep doin that your back is gunnna be fucked up when youre older

  • @MyDoggieLeo though his form was not perfect, i have seen much worse. either way, this is still very impressive for a high school kid.

  • that was me...

  • you can see the fucking bench bending, that is so sick!!!!!!

  • players in my school deadlift 600 and lineman deadlift like 700

  • @InspireII oh your cool.

  • he was using his back way to much

  • @alicebelleband nahh he had a belt back on its fine

  • @dutton65 the belt doesnt help when u lift 560 lbs with ur back...that was very bad form, kids get injured from these kind of lifts when done incorrectly(wheres the coach)

  • @chinaisaboner since doing research and through personal experience i've found that highschool coaches truly dont know correct form for lifts, or how to teach it.

  • @ForceBehindTheThrone i know highschool coaches who know how to teach proper form

  • @chinaisaboner perhaps i spoke too collectively. my coaches taught me how to squat, deadlift, clean, and bench wrong. any other hs coach i've talked to gave me the same form as my coaches.

  • BAD FORM

  • В Эфиопии принято бросать штангу после тяги?

  • strong lifting man! good job

  • awsome for such a skinny guy..

  • take the belt off and see what happens

  • Damn that's really impressive, he looks so skinny too

  • Deadlifts 580..... *breaks both legs*

  • @dbothacrooked24 actually 580.... *hernia*

  • no straps awesome. where is this guy now?

  • @murphy0847 layin assed out in a ditch on REVIS ISLAND! #24 JETS GOIN TO DALLAS, TX!!!

  • @dbothacrooked24 the jets suck

  • @chinaisaboner jets just beat the patriots.

  • big dead skinny dude impressive

  • deadlifting is easy but 570 might be hardd

  • why is he lifting with his back.....wtf?

  • @LordOfTheTombs WHAT OTHER PART OF HIS BODY IS HE SUPPOSE TO USE? ITS LEGS AND BACK YOU FUCK TARD

  • it would've been amazing if he didnt hitch it up the whole way

  • bklynsant, go suck on some tobacco chew and then kiss your wife with that rot lip dirtbag lol...

  • max lift forms are usually sloppy....form isnt that bad

  • hella sick i didnt know wat our weight room looked like but now i do

  • are you sure its 570?

  • lol in now way is that B marsh

  • good form or not this kid deadlifted 570lbs the haters prob cant do half that much

  • right behind you formpolice,

  • ugly lift, go do something your actually good at like climbing trees

  • USE YOUR LEGS, NOT YOUR BACK!! .. thats how you hurt yourself, that form was terrible ... some of these young athletes need to take the time to learn the basics of weightlifting because many excercises can be extremely dangerous if not done correctly .. the FEW trainers today who teach safety and nutrition before everything else should be recognized!!

  • @skinamarinky22, he's deadlifting 570lbs. He obviously has some goddamn experience lifting weights. And one rep maxes hardly ever look pretty.

  • hey now everyone. WE ALL KNOW THAT A ONE REP DEADLIFT WINS GAMES.....o wait

  • terrible form

  • damn that last one was all back not good

  • Dfg88 and formpolice, both of yall are races as fuck, if u cant stand us niggas then go kill urself cuz we gon be here foreva, u guyz are probably them crackers that walk around talkin to niggers in the day but at night yall some dumb fuckin kkk, go suck each others dick

  • leave it to a nigger to make a deadlift look retarded. why do you fucking monkeys always have to act like show offs? the reason you can do that weight at your size is not strength, it is biomechanics; your long monkey arms allow the bar to lockout at 2"s above the knee, making the start position equal to a rack pull.

  • says the pasty ass shaved rat. leave it to a cracker to try and tell a superior athletic specimen how to do something sports related. too bad all of your knowledge doesn't make you a better athlete. uncoordinated mother fucker. stick to spectating.

  • watch who you're calling cracker, nigger. he might be your future parole officer, you moon cricket.

  • @FormPolice why does everything have to be so racial? leave a comment without being a fucking cunt

  • I hope you dont believe your self LMFAO you just made your self look so dumb

  • deadlift is as much back as it is legs though for sure.

  • Stfu 91thebeast. Yo I can deadlift like 2000 pounds, no biggie I do reps with it actually. No one cares

  • One word STEROIDS!!!! It's all over professional sports.

  • @ndc18 stfu

  • Yes, a HS that knows the deadlift is still an important lift.

  • @smallvillevisitor It is, but people take it too lightly these days.

  • That wasnt the Brandon Marshall i was looking for but that was pretty impressive especiall 4 a dude his size & because of the fact I cant do that shit Lmao

  • Comment removed

  • haha gd comment, this was a record attempt so he was lifting max and prob hadnt attempted that weight before, wen ive gone for a pb i lookd like i was guna pop a vessel and my legs were shakin lol,

  • haha, why u guys arguin bout the nfl, this kids still in high school... you both know nothing... this isnt the denver broncos brandon marshall.

  • i didnt think so but i typed it in on google and it said it was him.. but another website said he went to a different high school so i think ur right and this isnt him. either way you deadlift with your legs and thats all i was trying to say and davidzzz94 got all mad ahah

  • and now that i think of it does this kid go to nevada? i think hes a linebacker for nevada if im not mistaken.

  • This not Brandon Marshall

  • he is using his back

  • where else r u supposed to use for dead lifting? your small ass dick? think before u fucking talk dumbshit

  • ur supposed to use legs only to lift it u dumbshit do u even weight lift idiot?

  • u fucking dumb shit.... if u use ur legs for dead lifting, then what is squat for? huh? u use ur legs for dead lift and ur back for squat then? fucking stupid ass son of a bitch, get in a fire accident and die with ur entire family

  • wow.... die in a fire u son of a bitch, i dont no anyone as stupid as u

  • yea ok foo

  • ya trying to talk all gangster now? ya fuck u bitch ass motherfucker, bet u never even been to a weightroom before

  • hahaha

  • no hes right you use your legs for deadlifting

  • hes not a former NFL WR he still plays in the league... and deadlifts your suppossed to use ur legs i no what im talking about. and by calling people names like retard and nerd really doesnt make you the coolest person on the earth it makes you sound like your 12 years old. your probably like 130 pounds and would get the crap beat out of you if you talked like that to people face to face so watch your mouth.

  • wow u just proved u r a daddyfucking retard, whats those videos of him on the side about then? fake NFL? and what league? national football league! that is NFL u fucking nerd, ya thats rite i just called u that, what r u gonna do?

  • just because hes in the NFL doesnt mean hes the second comming of jesus christ. hes not perfect. wow your calling me a nerd .?!? and im not going to do anything because ur talking behind a computer not to my face.

  • wow after what? 2 days now? u finally came up with some shit again and fucking with me again, how about get a life and shut the fuck up?

  • hahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahah, i dont sit behind my computer and wait for ppl to comment me back. what do you think i go on youtube everyday? "OMG 4 NEW COMMENTS! OMG I HAVE TO CHECK THEM! ROFL LOL OMFG I LOVE CALLING KIDS NERDS IM SO COOL ROFL XD XD XD!!!!!"

well anyway, all i said is no hes right you use your legs for deadlifting and you get all defensive and call me a nerd that sits behind my computer?

  • i can do that and im 17

  • are you a wide reciever at his weight and size?

  • my bad i meant tight end

  • i play the same two positions he does, but i excel more at OLB and i'm 184, 6'1" and 17 years old.

  • damn

    hes a beast

  • holy shit that's highschool i thought it was college dammmmmmm

  • That's one strong ass high school kid.

  • pretty impressive

  • It's called clean and jerk when you lift it up and over your head.

  • im thinking ur thinking of the military press indigomorocco

  • thats not brandon marshall

  • read the info. it is a different one. not the WR for Denver.

  • @roywilliams07 ya it is, it isn't denver's brandon marshall. read description dumbass

  • @roywilliams07 what about he got the same name ???

  • Time out! What is it called when you lift the weights UP and OVER your head?? I thought THAT was a deadlift. I thought this was a fail but I guess I was wrong or this clip is incorrectly titled throughout.

  • Like they do in the weightlifting in the olympics and shit? I think that's clean and jerk.

  • thats either a snatch or a clean and jerk, they're Olympic lifts. He is doing a deadlift

  • when it goes up and over your head its called a clean and jerk he just did a deadlift. you are wrong

  • well, I am 43yo and I used to dead pretty good, not THIS much!!! But 450-500 or so, about the same 4 squat. One wrong move in the gym in 1994 and I ruptured a disc (bent rows, being stupid when I placed the bar back in place). I still lift, but the stuff I really enjoy (legs) is not only gone, but I have endured a surgery and numerous episodes of incredible pain. Be careful with the weights, young guys! (yeah, I was looking at B. marsh of the Bronco vids, and I realized this was NOT him!)

  • Strong kid, get rid of the hitch on the last lift and it would have counted in competition.

  • the last lift wasn't that great because of his back

  • built for the lift, nice work

  • long arms are loooooooooooooong

  • That kid is freakin strong.

  • this is brandon marshall #33, linebacker for the nevada wolfpack.

  • this isn't the WR in the NFL you idiot broncos fan.

  • ha ha ha ha, damn man. im not a broncos fan but i thought it was. what other brandon marshal is there.

  • dude whenever i deadlift my back is fucked up, but im so good at it

  • that was impresive

  • it almost seemd like he used his back.

    ???????

  • hahah whats everyone talkin bout the broncos for, dont know which brandon marshall this guy refers to but this is deff. not the broncos wide out, not his body figure or face...nice try

  • i think when im that old ill do more right now im 5'11 235lbs and i can deadlift 330 well maby more.... i ran out of weights at my house... ill have to try at school some time

  • SCREW THE BRONCOS!

  • unreal for his size, very strong!

  • awesome strength.

    how much does he way.

deads are the best test of overall body strength.

  • 225, 6'4

  • at the time he was around 205

  • Im glad he feels like he has reached a physical accomplishment, but a heavy DL doesnt have any direct correlation with on-field performance. The young man also is lucky he didnt get an injury in his lumbar vertebrae.

  • he currently is one of University of Reno's top cornerbacks, so i guess you should feel like a dumb ass you old washed up dont play football piece of shit

  • Im happy for anyone who can make it in college football. But first my friend, I was a starting safety for Northern IL Univ., so i know football. Second, I have trained 16 Div 1 football players, and a Big Ten Track Champion. So if you ever want a leason in training, you have to ask nicely. Also, work on you communication skills, they are pathetic at best!!

  • owned

  • U owned him lol

  • it sounds as if you are jealous. and i dont believe you train that many athletes, if you did, you wouldnt be so stupid as to claim that maximum strength has no effect on field performance, obvioulsy there is no DIRECT effect but maximum strength is the KEY to enhanced speed, the rest is just hogwash.

i bet your the idiot who uses agiity ladders.

deadlifting is one of the best things an athlete can do, you still having your guys do single leg shit, and dinky tricep kickbacks?

  • If you want to get into this ok. First, the biomechanics of his deadlift are crap. The maintanence of a normal lumbar lordosis (curve in the lower back) is essential, and this individual fails. He does not drive the load up with his glutes and lower abs, instead, he pulls is up with his errectors. How does this help develop functional max strength???

Also, agility ladders are for toddlers. The "KEY" to speed is NOT max strength. Strength and muscular stiffness (neurological) is a component...

  • but not the "KEY".

Single leg "shit"..hahahaha...you are a fool!!! The EMG studies show they provide superior activation of the glute max and med. Also strictly bilateral training leads to athletes compensating to one side or other. Unilateral helps fix/avoid this. I can go on all day pointing out how stupid your comments are. Put down the Muscle Milk, take off muscle shirt, take head out of your rear, and get educated on biomechanics.

  • No way is doing single leg "shit" better for an athlete then Squatting and Deadlifting...

I'm not saying you don't know what your talking about, but squatting and deadlifting are the kings of strength training exercises.

  • Thank you for atleast not being completely disrespectful this time. But, squats and deadlifts are elementary movements. They really are. I can go into this for pages, but let me sum it up very simplistically. A. these lifts are not even close to the strength machnics you are seeking (running, even jumping!). B. Most ppl dont squat or deadlift correctly anyways (and youll be suprised what correct is!). Check out Dr. Ivo Waterlop and Dr. Shawn Allens squat progression material if you want.Peace!

  • Well im not the guy that started this with you, I just had to put my opinion in there. Second I do agree this guys deadlift form is horrible, is lower back is rounded the whole time, and no hip drive.

A squat that when hip joints go lower the knee joints (and using hip drive) already gives glute activation, not to mention the amount of testosterone these 2 exercises release. I will check it out though.

  • hey i was wondering if u could maybe hook me up with a workout cause mine is kinda shitty, i play football and am a lineman. thanks

  • bench, deadlifts, run, squats, powerclean and effort haha, but try going for more reps then trying to see what your max is because what good is it if you can only lift it once...its obviously impressive whats done in this video, but im sure he does sets of like 300..work on explosion too, thats great for linemen

  • lifting it once shows power, going from zero to maximum in a few seconds. that is the most important thing in athletics. I'm sure he can rep 500 easily with some straps. How much does he weigh? Kid is beasly, wish had his arm length. He is strong but he needs to add size to be competetive tight end or linebacker, he is just to small doesn't matter how strong he is.

  • what i mean by key is not that being strong will make you fast, but it will raise your potential, after that you have to realize that strength, take it or leave it, but eventually youl have to get stronger to run faster, in some shape or form, and maximum strength work is a very fast way to do that. p'c

  • I understand strength raises power production potential. You are correct. But would you saying increasing maximal strength at elbow flexion would equate to a higher VJ? Same here, the stregnth has to be specific to the movement. the firing sequences in the chain must be the related. Simply increasing deadlift max is not same as increasing Single leg "skaters", proper glut-ham raises, etc.

  • Wow was that high school footage?

  • Brandon Marshall Cimarron Memorial High School Tight End and Outside Linebacker breaking the school record.

  • Thanks

  • guy needs eat right to get huge..with that streght poyential ..hell be good..

  • damn impressive

  • haha, that aint brandon marshall

  • nigga heirs more then 1 Brandon Marshall
