i need some help finding parts for an 88 tsi. shit is driving me crazy 2.6 is said to be a peice of shit but i wanna build it strong any suggestions other than swapping the motor would help.......please help

@onet1me2007 build the bottom end good. forged crank, pistons, rods. that will run u like 400 or 500. then have the head gone thru and redone, cut new valve seats have it re surfaced 3in exhaust and bigger turbo. and either blow off or bypass valve with it, and a hard pip kit 4 the intake system. thats pretty much all u can do

@DSMeclipsegst only a G16 turbo upgrade. using the full turbo LoL i think the head was gone thru and re surfaced, new vavle seats were cut and such. and a 3" exhaust nothing else really

Naaa.... ive owned 3 of these cars and none of them failed me over 15 psi... my newest one is a 88 esi-r with a 850 primary and a 1000 secdary injectors. welbro 95 psi 255lph fuel pump turbo back 3 inch exhaust. a full msd set up with a over drive vacum system i came up with for the msd set up i got running the stock bottom end with a fully ported head i done. port matched intake and exhaust. and runniung the stock 12 a but ported to its max turbocharger and a new/ custom cam i made..
