  • @Bassingal yeah but of it was legal you're dad probably coulda beat the living shit out of whoever spit on him haha. I hate war, but soldiers are my heroes. Thanks guys

  • I got the same thing when I came back through Baltimore. There were people literally lined up 150 feet down the terminal on both sides. It sure made my homecoming awesome. The only thing missing was my wife and son. They were there for me when I got back to California though :o)

  • My father was spit on when he came home in 68...It's so damn GOOD to know that that doesn't happen anymore!

As part of the "CHANGE" Obama is talking about, I'm going to join a welcome home group this year and dedicate 2009 to welcoming home all the brave military men and women who are coming home!

  • Take your hatred somewhere else, it has no business here.

  • Aww at the elderly veteran who personally shakes hands with all the soldiers.

  • GOD BLEESS OUR SOLDIERS

  • Just think of the number of Vietnam vets whose livers and minds would be healthy today had they received this kind of reception upon returning home.

  • Let us not ever let the radical left do to our soldiers what they did to them during Vietnam. God Bless the USO and the Freedom Riders.
