Emin studied boxing for years and trains with boxers. I doubt boxing has many surprises for him as a style. If you want to know his ability, attend one of his seminars and ask to try his chi sao. What you see in this video is him letting lower skill ppl practice, not one was at his lvl so doesn't look realistic.

The jab would get in real quick, plus they move around. it would be one two, and knockout, I have never seen a wt vs boxer, I would like to see a well versed boxer spar with emin, that would be good, he looks good for what he does, but not sure how this would compare against boxer?
@mysticpiggyx I did boxing for 8 years and emin can kill a profecional boxer easily, but in the end the only thing that matters is the artist, not the art.also many boxers hate the wing tsun and do not know that boxing has a lot of wing tsun

Gegen 32€ /Monat fürs Schülertraining kann man nichts sagen, ist teuer im Vergleich mit e.V.s, aber es geht. OK, 90€ im Monat für die Ausbilderklasse tut weh, aber ich sag mir immer, der Trainer macht das hauptberuflich und muss von was Leben.

Emin isn't going full out here. This is a test. Like when I did my grading with Sifu Oliver Becker. I was able to hit him a bit. If it was a real fight, I wouldn't be typing this message from what I saw from him. The spinning hook kick was to see if the student can block a spinning hook kick, as though e were fighting a practitioner of a different style. I'm also guessing that's why Emin used so much power. To test the guy's manipulation.

Boxing and Wing Chun are very different, for instance we like to kick at knee caps and put fingers in other peoples eyes. Most Boxers do not, and that is good, because they are sportsmen while we try to defend our selves efficient.
Regardless of how you want to Spell Wing Chun, It's Wing Chun. Emin is one of the best in the world. But his sifu was Leung Ting and Leung Ting teaches Wing Chun. I've Train with both Leung Ting & Emin Lines.
nope, Leung Ting teaches Wing Tsun (trade mark!!), he created that spelling and trade mark so as to let it clear that it was different from the other wing chun styles. Also called Leung Ting Wing Tsun. Emin is teaching EBMAS (emin boztepe martial arts system), that is basically Wing Tsun as taught to him by Leung Ting and Kernspecht.
It is WINGTSUN(TM) because others had already trademarked "Wing Tsun" in some countries. I think Sifu Emin actually owns the trademark for the spelling "Wing Tsun" in North America but uses the "z" out of respect, and lets Dr. Leung keep his spelling.
Come on! That is like saying BJJ is the same as Judo! They are related but the WORDS are spelled so that we can understand which way of doing it is being referred to.
WT, VT, WC, TWC, etc.... refer to variations and are not the same. There are many spellings now for "Tsun" like Tzun, Tjun, etc but the initials are still WT to show the respect to Dr. Leung Ting for starting it.
On bullshido they call it _ing __un and don't bother learning the differences and so I just call BJJ Judo!
In Sifu Emins Defense, he is at A seminar advancing other "students" experience not to make it look pretty. I don't understand why Emin did a back spinning hook kick at 1:40. He gave his whole back to his opponent and seemed a little off balance. This is a big no no in Wing Chun. He must be so cocky that he feels he's good enough to pull shit like that and stil be in control.
lets not forget that chi-sao drill is a skill in responsive training , the application is designed for drilling your nervous system to be responsive to sensitivity not to just slap your oppenent till his ears ring (albeit an effective outcome) :)
Interesting that when Sifu Boztepe gets slapped a coupe of times he disengages from chi sao, takes a semi-boxing guard and slaps back. I would expect a sifu to have more control when chi sao-ing with his students. Looks like he gets vindictive to me...

Actually, in a real fight, once interception is achieved, Emin would drop any of them instantly. Chi Sau sparring is far from real fighting. There is no pulling back anything and is a lot faster and rougher. In a real Wing Chun situation, the fight ends quick, always.

I remember sparring with my first instructor and after a while I thought "He is not that good...I could take him!" I was getting cocky and asking for more until one day he exploded in a torrent of strikes through all of my openings making light contact all over my head and face, I was stunned. Can one tell if someone is behind them, with ill intent?? I grew up in Detroit. Ive had several muggers sneak up behind me, with weapons, and 3 differant times, I looked behind me for some reason. H.K Biu Jee form contains some concepts adaptable to gaining the line, from a surprise attacker. So i would think WT would also have that being a subbranch of H.K WCK.
Truth be told, I personaly dont know what WT has or hasnt, but YKS WCK has answers for attackers from the rear, sides, 45 angles and head on. We use Jin San and Pian San methods.
We train a motion that is a sweep from low to high Sickle Bong sau, which sweeps and covers a wide area, if one is unsure.
Are they mainly trying to do chi sau or just spar freestyle? Lol, im confused because they keep doing different variations of techniques.

Die T-Shirts (20€) und Hosen (50€) sind am aller schlimmsten. Nutzen schnell ab, Nähte reißen schnell auf, die Hosen stinken etc.
Die Handschuhe genauso, gehen schnell kaputt, stinken bestialisch. Schutzhelm ist auch Müll, weil extrem unbequem (Da lob ich mir KWON). USW ETC PP.
Also bei 20€ für ein T-Shirt und 50€ für eine Hose erwarte ich Top-Qualität und das diese zighundert mal gewaschen und genutzt werden können.

Ich war selber bis vor kurzem bei der EBMAS und habe bei dem ersten Sifu trainiert, der hier dran kommt. (Habe wegen meinem Studium aufgehört).
Ich will gar nicht auf den WT Stil hinaus, der ist einfach Klasse.
Aber einige hier haben recht, wenn sie sagen, dass EB sich ja eigentlich von Kernspecht und LT getrennt hat um was an der (Finanz)-Politik zu ändern.
Das hat er aber nicht getan! Die Preise sind unverschämt. PUNKT.

Just in regards to some of the comments I'm reading:
Emin isn't going full out here. This is a test. Like when I did my grading with Sifu Oliver Becker. I was able to hit him a bit. If it was a real fight, I wouldn't be typing this message from what I saw from him. The spinning hook kick was to see if the student can block a spinning hook kick, as though e were fighting a practitioner of a different style. I'm also guessing that's why Emin used so much power. To test the guy's manipulation.

Boxing and Wing Chun are very different, for instance we like to kick at knee caps and put fingers in other peoples eyes. Most Boxers do not, and that is good, because they are sportsmen while we try to defend our selves efficient.

Regardless of how you want to Spell Wing Chun, It's Wing Chun. Emin is one of the best in the world. But his sifu was Leung Ting and Leung Ting teaches Wing Chun. I've Train with both Leung Ting & Emin Lines.

nope, Leung Ting teaches Wing Tsun (trade mark!!), he created that spelling and trade mark so as to let it clear that it was different from the other wing chun styles. Also called Leung Ting Wing Tsun. Emin is teaching EBMAS (emin boztepe martial arts system), that is basically Wing Tsun as taught to him by Leung Ting and Kernspecht.

It is WINGTSUN(TM) because others had already trademarked "Wing Tsun" in some countries. I think Sifu Emin actually owns the trademark for the spelling "Wing Tsun" in North America but uses the "z" out of respect, and lets Dr. Leung keep his spelling.

Come on! That is like saying BJJ is the same as Judo! They are related but the WORDS are spelled so that we can understand which way of doing it is being referred to.
WT, VT, WC, TWC, etc.... refer to variations and are not the same. There are many spellings now for "Tsun" like Tzun, Tjun, etc but the initials are still WT to show the respect to Dr. Leung Ting for starting it.
On bullshido they call it _ing __un and don't bother learning the differences and so I just call BJJ Judo!

In Sifu Emins Defense, he is at A seminar advancing other "students" experience not to make it look pretty. He can get away with a lot of it because if it was a real situation he would eat up 90% of the population FIGHTING him. All videos on youtube are here for critique, just as what I do...But as a former student aof Emin and a Instructor myself, I understand what he is trying to do...You can touch hands wth Emin at any Seminar, you think you have what it takes, please step up to Emin.

I don't understand why Emin did a back spinning hook kick at 1:40. He gave his whole back to his opponent and seemed a little off balance. This is a big no no in Wing Chun. He must be so cocky that he feels he's good enough to pull shit like that and stil be in control.

lets not forget that chi-sao drill is a skill in responsive training , the application is designed for drilling your nervous system to be responsive to sensitivity not to just slap your oppenent till his ears ring (albeit an effective outcome) :)

Interesting that when Sifu Boztepe gets slapped a coupe of times he disengages from chi sao, takes a semi-boxing guard and slaps back. I would expect a sifu to have more control when chi sao-ing with his students. Looks like he gets vindictive to me...

Actually, in a real fight, once interception is achieved, Emin would drop any of them instantly. Chi Sau sparring is far from real fighting. There is no pulling back anything and is a lot faster and rougher. In a real Wing Chun situation, the fight ends quick, always.

I remember sparring with my first instructor and after a while I thought "He is not that good...I could take him!" I was getting cocky and asking for more until one day he exploded in a torrent of strikes through all of my openings making light contact all over my head and face, I was stunned. Epiphany: He was awesome, I sucked. My point is he was very gentle slowly building me up even when he showed me how wrong I was he would not hurt me or overdo it. The teacher above...hmmm

Peace must prevail. This is two fold. First it means not STARTING trouble with boastfull challanges and not excepting challanges to fight over simply ego.

Yeah he's pretty much muscling them. And what's up with the spinning backfist? Truth is he looks really bad in this video. I agree, one of the things I don't like about the Boz is that you always see him beating up on students, like he feels the need to assert himself, maintain his "alpha dog" status, instead of just teaching and guiding. He's a great fighter but somehow he fails to transmit that to his students. Maybe that's why so many of his students suck, who knows.

Can one tell if someone is behind them, with ill intent?? I grew up in Detroit. Ive had several muggers sneak up behind me, with weapons, and 3 differant times, I looked behind me for some reason. Intent is an energy, that many are sensitive to. No magic or ninjitsu involved. Anyone who has been in situations like this for real, will understand what i mean.

H.K Biu Jee form contains some concepts adaptable to gaining the line, from a surprise attacker. So i would think WT would also have that being a subbranch of H.K WCK.

Truth be told, I personaly dont know what WT has or hasnt, but YKS WCK has answers for attackers from the rear, sides, 45 angles and head on. We use Jin San and Pian San methods.
We train a motion that is a sweep from low to high Sickle Bong sau, which sweeps and covers a wide area, if one is unsure.
