@johnnyXsniper Scots is a language all of it's own. Scots and English sound similar because we are neighbours, but some words are different i.e. Loch and Lake. Most people think Scottish people took English and turned it into their own, but this isn't the case.

@29pollux you tell em mate, both are west germanic languages but scots has other tuetonic/nordic influences such as "bairn" (swedish its barn) in fact I once watched a d/l series of star trek ds9 with swedish subs and some of the words and phrsing was so close to our dialect I could pretty much understand the subs. The english think they gave the world fuckin everything, what they did give was fuckin empire which has lead to the devil america doing it in another way. FREEEEEDOOOOOOMMMMM
