@swanethecat LA is a blue-collar city. You can't have some guy like this screaming behind the mic after every basket made at a Lakers game. Don't get me wrong, this guy is good, but he is not classy like Lawrence Tanter. Can you imagine a Lakers game with, let's say, John Mason as the PA Announcer? It does not fit. Lawrence Tanter is the perfect PA announcer for the Lakers.

I remember listening to this guy in Memphis. His voice echoed across FedEx Forum, and when he screamed "Memphis Grrrrrrrizzlies," everyone got goosebumps. The only other guy I would say is on the same level as this guy is the old Colorado Rockies PA Announcer.
